I need to see if anyone can help until I can get on the phone with Disney. We are using the military memory maker for our 2020 trip. Our travel agent said only 1 can be bought but Disney's site with the pricing info says 2. Has anyone done 2 before? We would like to gift the second one to friends traveling with us.

I have only ever done one but wanted to point out in case you haven’t thought of it that you can share one if you are linked as friends and family. That’s what we always do.
If that isn’t helpful I apologize. Good luck and have fun.

I have only tried to purchase 1 military memory maker but I will tell you that if you are all traveling together - you can have the photographer just take separate pictures of everyone or groups as you like - then share your pictures with them.

I purchase one and we usually travel with my son and his family and friend if theirs. my Son is listed on my friends and family list and I just add one of the other adults. That adult then just has to scan their magic band when they get photos taken and they all show up. I usually pay fir this as a gift to all. Actuall, the cast member at Guest Relations at the International Gateway is the one who told me how to do it. March with be the 4th year we have done it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think you can "gift" a military memory maker to someone who is not military. As others said, the people traveling with you can share on your account.

We've only purchased one at a time, but even linked with friends on a big trip in 2018 (who purchased their own MM), we got all their photos too.

Not sure when this happened but it seems new for 2019 is the watermarks. This year, when DH purchased the Memory Maker, any photos showed up watermarked on my MDE but not on his (in 2018, they showed up without the mark on my MDE). On our last trip, DH had to get back to work and left 2 days before we did and we were worried about getting the photos. CMs assured us MM would still work for us, and they did. If you link everyone together, it should be fine.

We have a BIG family trip (21-23 folks) in January and we are planning to do the Military Memory Maker when we check in.

So (sorry for Tagging along in here but I hope it's helpful to you too)

since the Military Memory Maker has to be purchased in person - will we be able to see photos of connected friends if they've entered the park BEFORE we have? Because, as I understand the military version allows you to see everything immediately rather than the 3 day wait.

I'm a veteran who qualifies for the Salute tix and the Memory Maker discount for military. My only real question, is "Memory Maker" worth it, never used or purchased it before and was seeing if any one can give me Pros and Cons ??? Thank you in advance !

To be honest, we haven't purchased it before when it was just the two of us - however we are going with family (23 of us) and are going to get it for that trip because it allows the purchaser the ability to download everyone's photos (up to 30 people).
