The Military discount is back at Disneyland.
3 day park hopper for $99 which is valid through Sept 30th 2011
Up to 6 may be purchased.

I really like this gesture to our men and women in uniform and our veterans. If you haven't been to the flag ceremony at the front of the park and you are slightly patriotic, get over there. This is a moving ceremony that thanks all who have served or are serving and brings tears to my eyes every time I see it. Thanks for your service!!! Now go have a fun day with your family at Disneyland!!!

Base and or ticket booths at the park. I don't have a link it only started today.

If you are a veteran and are buying the tickets at the booth what type of ID is required? How do you prove you are retired military? (Asking on behalf of my father-in-law)...

Your FIL should have a military ID that shows that he is a retired veteran. That is what he would need to show at the gate.

They mostly want people to buy the tickets at the bases. So I suppose a retired veteran would have access to the base or PX or something like that. Getting tickets at the booth would be more of a "last resort" and they will be asking for a military ID.

thanks for the info. I wish they would do it for a 4 day ticket. We are going for 4 days. I wonder if they cut you a discount on the third day?

I know at DisneyWorld you need the military person or spouse with you to activate the tickets. Is it the same at Disneyland?? If you prepurchase on base are they considered active at Disneyland without doing anything extra?

I don't know if it will be any different this year, but last year they weren't active. We bought them on base, but we still had to go to the ticket booth, have them bring up the info, and print us out "real" tickets. It was just the two of us, so I don't know if others in our group, had we had any, would have had to check with DH present or not, sorry.

This year they will be printing an e-ticket at the base. so you can go directly to the turnstyles with it and exchange it for a paper ticket as you go in. Also upgradeable to AP

Sorry, I'm a little confused... If you have to exchange it doesn't that mean you have to go to one of the ticket booths first? (been a while since I've been to Disneyland...) Thank you so much!
