Military AP benefits, same as regular AP ones??

We will be buying our first AP from SoG in September and I am wondering if the military AP offers the same discount benefits as the regular AP does for shopping at DD and the dining discounts?? They told me if offers free parking, but wondered if the other bennies are the same...any info is helpful..thanks!!!

The AP bought at SOG is the same as the ones bought at WDW.
