I was told today by DU that we could only book 1 room per military ID with the 40% code. We have 6 adults and 3 kids going on our trip. So I was looking to book 3 rooms. I see some people on this thread have had luck booking 2 rooms. I thought that I read on another thread where someone was able to book 3 rooms. Anyone else running into this problem? What did you end up doing?
Hey there!
I spent a lot of time on this with a CM and her boss. It is one room per military ID, but the military ID can be a spouse military ID (the CM quoted this to me from the rules), so we were able to book 2 rooms by placing myself in one room and my husband in the other. The CM said that it didn't matter if we switched people around after we got to Disney World. I was going to just book a suite to hold us all, but I mentioned that we would really like separate rooms, but such is life, and the CM volunteered this info. So, this was all the CM's suggestion and she really seemed to know what she was talking about. I hope that this helps a little bit.![]()
After initially telling me 1 room per ID, my DU agent was actually able to call Disney directly and confirm that we could, indeed, book three rooms with Dad's ID. He said there had been some confusion among the cast members (imagine that...confusion regarding the military offer) but we would be able to do it after all. It sounds like 3 is the maximum number of rooms that can be booked.
The dining is not discounted, it's $39.99 per adult.
And yes, there are black out dates. From disneyworld.com/military: "For stays most nights January 4 to December 23, 2009, except not available at all 2/13-2/15, 4/4-4/18, 5/22-5/24, 7/3-7/4, 11/25-11/26/09."
5 nights at the Poly in June with plus dining=$2116
2 adults, 3 kids 11, 7, 4
We were allowed to book another room for sister, her hubby, and baby with no problem.
YAY. My dad just showed me this [he is retired navy] and it made me so happy!
I have a question- for the 40% off resorts, do you HAVE to stay at a moderate?
No, you can pick any resort. They will let you know if it is available or not. We are at the Pop for 7 nights under $400.00
Do you have to book over the phone for the discount, i'm guessing you do.

Yea!! Got more than one room reserved, finally!! Called Disney *again* and got a CM who said "the rules changed" and that each service person can reserve 3 rooms at the discount. Thank goodness I was persistant!!![]()
