Miles+money problem

I am beginning to research prices for next summer hols. We want to fly intoMCO and out of Miami. When I put this on the Virgin website it will let me do the two legs, but when I press m+m it reverts to MCO return. Am I doing something wrong? Can you use m+m with different airports? Thanks, Jo.

Unless I misunderstood your question and sorry if I have but I think we've done this in the past so I tried this, clicked on http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/bookflightsandmore/bookflights/index.jsp?detailedView=true

I entered London to Orlando on 1st June and return from Miami to London on the 15th June and got a price for £487.90 plus 2,000 miles.

If it doesn't work for your dates try LON-MCO return with miles plus money and then LON-MIA return with mies plus money for your dates, it could be that one of the flights has no availability with miles plus money and this way you will find out which one.
