MIL had a stroke on Sat.

She is only 62 but is a smoker and drinks tons of coffee. She is still having tests done. Today is the MRI. She is having problems with her speech and a little memory problems and her right side is weak. We are all very worried about her and have spent much of the weekend at the hospital. Unfortunately, she doesn't have insurance. Prayers would really be appreciated. Thank you.

Does she qualify for medicade? It paid foa most of My Mom's 6 weeks in Hospital and 6 weeks in rehab hospital following her stroke last year. Unfortunately, recovering from a stroke is a very long process .(hugs)

The social worker was in to see her and we are hoping that she will qualify for medicaid. She is on SS now and is/was waitressing but I doubt if she'll be able to go back to work for quite a while if ever.
