Wow - no soda!! and it was there all the time!! What a great accomplishment! And 5 weeks as a Wish'er!! Whoo hoo!
Lesli54 said:Wow, it doesn't seem like 5 weeks have flown by. Isn't it great to know that you can make such great strides in such a short amount of time? Your thoughts about the People magazine article is very understandable. Sometimes when I am wondering if I will ever get to where I am going, I remind myself that there are others on this board that have thought the same thing and have further to go than I and yet they continue on every day, which makes me realize that I can do the same as well. After all, in reality we all have the same goal no matter the amount we want to lose and that is to become healthier so that we can lead a more full life and enjoy every minute of it. But you know it is so much more fun to lose with great support.![]()

Have fun coming up with new concoctions this week. I think I am going to actually drag out some of those cookbooks. Hope the rest of your day is good.![]()

I am so sorry you are having such a rough time at work. None of that can be easy. I know my daughter's first choice university is going through similar housing issues, and I understand a good friend's son did not get dorm housing at his college, though his college is helping him find an off campus apartment. I think dorm living is such a critical component of the freshman experience and really helps kids find friends and support, that I will do whatever I have to in order to facilitate Jenn's placement in a dorm. Just hang in there. I am sure your residents are glad to have someone as compassionate as you around, even if you are delivering bad news.
Hmmmm. . . . so you shave your head, huh? I always find it is actually helpful to have hair to tear out.You may want to re-think that!
Hope you have a great day!![]()

Thanks for reading my journal so thoroughly.Existing? Yeah, that is what I felt like as well. I can honestly say that since starting with this program, I have not done that. Each day is a progression, but I don't exist anymore as I am learning to live.
Have a great evening.![]()

But I nevered lived in the college dorm. But sitting in class and listening to all of the students talk about the DORMS was so funny. All the stories about the MEAN supervisors (not mike though). I went to a parent worst nightmare the University of Wisconsin-Madison. So many parties in one place. Well getting ready to watch the space shuttle take off with the kids. I will have to put this in their babybooks. Well great job so far mike. Your weight loss will contine to inspire me. Good luck with the upcomin week at school. Don't stress out too much and don't let it result in eating more bad food. Leave fruit and veggies in your office instead of candy. kardiebelle

BTW, last night I used the leftover mushrooms & onions (flavored w/A-1) in eggbeaters -- delicious! I definitely do not have your knack for inventing recipes, but once in a while, an odd combination really pays off.
Also, if you like spicy food, you might want to make some cauliflower poppers to have around. Here is the recipe:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees; spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray
Break up a small head of cauliflower into grape-sized pieces,
Mix 1/2 tsp of each of the following together in a small bowl: cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper;
Mix dry ingredients with cauliflower in small bowl and spread cauliflower on cookie sheet in single layer
Bake for 10 minutes; stir or shake; bake another 5-10 minutes until cauliflower is dry.
YUMMY and spicy! Enjoy
Thanks for the recipe for the pepperoni chips. I am going to try that with my favorite turkey pepperoni slices. I bet it will be delicious!
Have a great day!
