I have a great home theater so its rare that we go out to the movies. I am not a big fan of sitting in a cramped theater with a bunch of strangers for hours and not being able to take a break. We waited a few weeks after Up came out to go see it and it was great. The theater was empty and we could go and come as we pleased. I don't think we will have that option for Toy Story 3 as popular as it seems to be.

So my question is this, has anyone been to a midnight showing for a Pixar film? Or any kids film? Im assuming we wouldn't see many, if any kids. But there is nothing else out in theaters right now so it may be packed with adults.

We went to the midnight showing of Wall-E. It wasn't full, and there were not any young children. There were a few young teens and older children, but mostly it was college students and adults.

We go to lots of midnight shows, and there are rarely many children at them, but since they are usually held on school nights I suspect that's why. The Harry Potter movies seem to be the big exception - we always see lots of kids at those.

We had planned to go to the midnight showing of TS3 last night, but at the last minute weren't able to. (We're seeing it this afternoon instead; I can't wait!) I suspect there might have been more children there for it than Wall-E, though, since many schoolchildren are out of school for the summer right now.
