Middle(???) Michigan Disers--a moment please :)

On Saturday, DH, DS, myself, DH's parents, his sister, her DH and their DS will all be flying to Detroit to for a family reunion.

What is the weather like there this time of year? Am I going to need light (cotton) long sleeved shirts or a light jacket? Is it rainy this time of year? Will I be able to wear capris or are long pants more of a necessity?

I've only been to Michigan in fall/winter so I'm not really sure what ya'll summers are like.

We should be the in 80's, but it is Michigan and we could be in the 70's, you never know. I wear mostly capris, but you could definitely wear shorts everyday. I would probably bring some sort of light weight jacket in case of rain. If your spending most of your time outside, like camping, then bring pants for cooler evenings. I think it has been down in the 50's some nights lately.

Alright thanks. I was just curious as to what the weather was like. I'm not entirely sure how much time we'll be spending out of doors, though most likely we'll spend at least one day driving up to that town whose name I can't recall right now. You know..where Zehnder's is and Bronner's. We never miss a trip up there when we visit.

That would be frankenmuth. It could be anywhere from in the 70's to 90's. Check http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USIL0280_f.html before you go. Just put in the city you will be in.

I'd go with shorts or capris and a light jacket or long sleeved something for eves as right now we are looking at cool eves(low 60's high 50's)
