Mid July - resorts are sold out??

I don't think that I have ever had this kind of trouble getting ressies made. We are going July 13-19 and almost every deluxe resort is full at least one of those days. I'm not talking the AP discount or the FL resident discount - open rate. It seems like the only thing available is a moderate or Saratoga Springs or OKW. Is there something going on that week that I should know about?

Just booked BC for 7/24 - 7/31 and had no problem I got AAA discount and airfare on southwest for 44.00 each way from Chicago! Air fare and AAA saved me the $ of dining! See you here in JULY!!!

I just booked Boarwalk for 7/26/7/29 using the Fl Ressie Discount....It seems that OKW and SS are ALWAYS available. Weird that they would be so booked up during the supposed value season.

We will be at POR from July 14 to 22. Your post had me worried...until I checked on-line. Only the Poly appears to be completely full. Most of the resorts had rooms available at a variety of price levels.

I still cannot seem to get anything but WL to come up for our dates. I know that the moderates are available, but this is a reunion for me and my sister so I really wanted to stay in a deluxe. I know how busy it gets during the summer (we've been many times), I just find it incredible that I cannot find 1 other deluxe avaible for my dates. I just wasn't sure if there was some event that I was unaware of.

SqueakyMouse - were you checking the Disneyworld site for availability? I just checked this morning and only WL popped up. Oh, well, guess we'll stay at Saratoga where we already have ressies.

WL is a great deluxe and you get a good value for oyur $$

I never believe the WDW site. Never seems to be accurate. Just call.

You'll love Saratoga - great studio rooms for you and your sis to have good times, and you can walk to DTD for food/shopping. Take her to the Spa there, it's beautiful! Have fun!
