Mid August tour groups? Crowds?

We have never gone to WDW in August but due to super sized crowds the last few summers we decided to push it back to see if crowds are as light as I have heard (at least in comparison to early July). When we had been going, crowds were 9-10 every day and there were tons of teen tour groups. Will that carry into August?

We have never really had a bad encounter with the tour groups, our only issue was the sheer size of them. If you are walking somewhere and get behind one going to the same place suddenly there are 200 people in front of you.

Crowds steadily decline as August passes. First of the month is still fairly busy, end of the month not bad at all.

By mid-August,the South American Tour Groups will be gone for the most part-even the Super Greeters will be gone by then.
