DS still takes a bottle before naps and bed. He is very picky so the bottle must be warmed. We leave in a couple days so no chance to change it now! Is it possible to rent a microwave at the GF? If not how else have you heated bottles of milk?

Oh, and if I remember correctly there are now refrigerators in all of the rooms. Correct?

I just got back from the Grand Floridian, first time and I loved it !!!
I noticed at Gaspirilla Grill there were micowaves in the back (near the arcade games). If that seems inconvienant, call and ask if they provide or rent them.
Our room was only a 3 min walk to the Gaspirilla Grill and they are open 24 hours. Have a wonderful time!

Housekeeping does have a limited supply, so you can ask them when you check in. I never felt safe warming a bottle in the microwave though, due it's uneven heating. When my kids were small, we always travelled with a baby bottle warmer. It was a unit that you could plug into a wall outlet and slip the bottle inside. If you're in a pinch, I've found that running just water through the coffee maker and putting the bottle in the warm water works pretty good too.

Yes they do.

Thanks, I didn't even think of a plug in warmer. I don't mind the microwave b/c we really only take the chill off of it. No part actually gets hot and we shake it well. I think the warmer may actually be a better idea though. Thanks again!

. . . Housekeeping does have a limited supply, so you can ask them when you check in . . .

1) Many resorts no longer have the microwaves.
2) As they wear out or are damaged, they are not replaced.
3) The danger and liability to WDW is too great to replace them
. . . kids can pull them from room counters
. . . adults with pacemakers can be affected
. . . if door seals are damaged from transport, microwaves can leak out
