Microwave "kettle corn" popcorn

OMG!!!!!!!! This stuff is addicting. I devoured the entire bag! I think it's even better than buying it at the fair.

Have you tried it yet? I bought it today & had to wait all day for DH to get home to share a bag with me. But he didn't even get a chance. LOL

I LOVE this stuff!! I made a bag last night, and while DH was out of the room, I ate the whole thing! He came back in and was like "You ate the whole thing?!"

I bought the Jolly Time brand just because it cost less & was only 3 bags to the box. I wanted to try it before I spent alot more or went with a larger box. But I'll be buying a different brand next time because it left alot of unpopped seeds in the bag.

Lilboo..... I gave him PLENTY of chances to get in the room. I kept calling him. He just didn't get there fast enough. LOL

Have you ever tried the "corn-on-the-cob" microwave popcorn? It smells just like corn-on-the-cob when it's popping. And it tastes pretty great too.

Since we have a son in Boy Scouts, we usually buy a year's supply of microwave corn from him.

Dan, kettle corn is sweet (sugar) & salty. It's SOOOOO GOOOOD --- escpecially warm!!!!!!!!!

They make kettle corn at the Yankee Peddler. The pop a huge cast iron kettle of corn and, at the last minute, throw in a couple of cups of granulated sugar.

If you ever travel to Europe, you might be surprised to find that the popcorn is sugared, much as European travellers to the United States are surprised that the popcorn is salted.

I had to chuckle at your response!! We are the parents of a Boy Scout as well - and we are always WELL stocked on popcorn! This year they came out with microwaveable popcorn but it's in a multi-pack deal. Of course we had to order it!!

Pam - You'd be surprised at how long 150 bags of microwave popcorn lasts. This year we may be force to buy more as our troop has raised the bar.

I buy Orville's Kettle Korn for DS once in while for a treat. I say treat because the package says 1 bag has approx. 3 servings at 12 grams of fat each serving which = ????per bag.

I hate being the bearer of bad news to all of you so I'll let you figure it out. The rest of the time I buy plain popcorn and pop it in the Chiminea outside, which he enjoys just as much because it's popped in the fire!

Oh I am addicted to this stuff....and i am usually so good about what I eat ! I will eat a whole bag for dinner sometimes.
