Microwave in the room

Does anyone know id you are able to get a microwave in your room at the AKL? When I stayed at the GF in the past I was able to request and have one in the room. I have dry eyes ands need to microwave my compress twice daily. If I try to use one in the food court the mask will have lost too much heat by the time I get back to my room. Thanks for any info!

I answered on your other thread about the plug-in type of eye mask. I asked for a microwave for the same eye issue at AKL, and didn't get one. That's why I ended up buying a plug-in mask. If you ask, you may get one, and you may not.

Yes you can request one, but they only have a certain number of microwaves to give out so there is no guarantee that you will get one.

I'm not sure what is the best way to request a microwave. I had a club level room, and so asked signature services when they called. I explained why I needed it. When I got to the room, it wasn't there. I asked in person and was told they didn't have one available.

People on here say that you should never call "the front desk" for anything because your call will be routed to an off-site call center. The person who answers the phone will say the name of your hotel, but it's possible that they have never even seen it.

Yes and Yes I would go to the front desk in person to ask for one.
You can never request enough LOL

We were told you can request after you get there. You can get one if they are available.

I'm assuming they don't want to have a reservation system for microwaves.

I would verify at the desk in person before you buy one that if not you would be allowed to use one that you bought not resort supplied
