Zippiddi Doo the Bayou! Zippiddi Doo the Bayou!

Splash Mountain had closed last trip and they were working on Tiana's Bayou Adventure. I am no fan of getting wet on rides. I don't like the feel of my underwear stuck to my behind and my feet slip sliding in my shoes after getting wet on an attraction; however, we really wanted to see the new makeover. So, I took out the disposable ponchos I bought at Walmart and we tugged them on when we got close to the loading area.

Nobody does theming like Disney does.







By the time we got to this point, we had our ponchos on and I was trying to figure out how to make the arm holes smaller or at least hold them together. But I still needed to have my phone out during part of the ride so I could take pictures. I thought I had it all figured out by the time we loaded into the log.



I was so excited to see what Disney had done to a classic.









At this point, I took a quick video to put on TikTok later on. A girls gotta promote her business so I was taking short videos the entire trip. I've been able to use a lot of them too. You can find me on TikTok as mickeystoontown if you wanna look me up.

Zippiddi Doo the Bayou! Zippiddi Doo the Bayou! continued

Welp, my hair got wet and the water gooshed through the armhole. Clearly, I didn't do it right. Lacey was coming later in the trip and I knew she would want to ride. I'd have to do something differently the next time. We thought that Tiana's Bayou Adventure was amazing! Just not fans of getting wet but it was worth it.

There's always room for one more! But there's two of us so who's it gonna be?
We left Tiana's Bayou Adventure and ventured over to one of my favorite attractions and one that John could take it or leave it. Haunted Mansion here we come! In no time at all, we were in the stretching room.




I took two pictures...just two... before we were ushered out of the stretching room and doing the shuffle walk from the stretching room to the area that narrows down to almost single file. These bats remind me of a muppet



It's the Hatbox Ghost!



A blurry Hatbox Ghost but at least I got a picture.



I wasn't sure if this picture of the dining room would turn out or not but it isn't half bad.

Well, how many of y'all passed out 'cause you couldn't believe that I'm still alive and actually posted?

Lord have mercy! Life has been busy. I've been doing well with my business and I've been keeping my clients happy.

We have built new chicken coops and doubled the number of chicken we have. I love it!

John's dad's cancer is in gone. Amen! But they are getting older and need more help than before so John's been traveling the 100+ mile roundtrip more often than usual.

Lacey and Jesse have completed their home study and are now officially adopting after years and years of trying to conceive on their own. We are spreading the word far and wide!

Law office work has had so much drama. We are less four people in the office and, since i have the most experience, more and more of the workload has fallen on me.

Anyway, we are just 50 days away from leaving for our next Walt Disney World vacation and when I realized it, I knew that I had to get my behind over here and post. I made myself a promise that I wouldn't abandon this report and that I'd finish it up before we went on the next trip. I'll be pushing it but I'm determined.
