I understand the Christmas Party begins at 7pm. Is it true you can enter the park with just your party pass that day at 4pm? Do you need a dining reservation to enter early?
Does anyone know the time(s) for the Christmas parades and the fireworks for the party evening?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, they start admitting people at 4pm with just their MVMCP ticket. You do not need a dinner PS to enter early.

I am not sure about parade and firework times. This is our first year going, so I am curious too.

I have heard of people getting in early!! (I didn't know this last year or believe me....I WOULD OF DONE IT!! :bounce: ) The parades are at 8:15 and 10:40 with the fireworks at 9:15! :teeth: If anyone wants me to scan and email them a copy of last years schedule, feel free to ask! There is so much to do and so little time (believe me....it's a jam packed evening! ::yes:: "

I saw on another post that the reason they started letting people in early is to cut down on the lines at the bag checks, makes sense. We got in at 4:30pm last year with our MVMCP tickets, no PS #. When I bought our MNSSHP tickets last month at City Hall, they said we could be admitted after 4:00pm, so I think it will stay the same for MVMCP.

We arrived for the Halloween Party this year around 5 and just used our party tickets to get in (though we had planned to be getting in with our regular AP's).

If the Christmas party parade and fireworks times are the same as the Halloween Party (and I think that's the same as the Christmas party last year) they have the parade at 8pm and 10pm and fireworks at 9.

With the new Wishes fireworks on regular nights...it turned out that the Halloween fireworks were a bit disappointing (we had seen Wishes a few nights before) because they are just the regular old Fantasy in the Sky with a different finale. Not sure what they have planned for Christmas...but hopefully its a variation on Wishes rather than FITS.

The Christmas Parade is wonderful...don't miss it!

I called Disney yesterday and was told the earliest we can enter the park for MVMCP is 7:00. What's up with that? If we do get in early how do they weed out the people that were there for the day?

From what I understand, the computer turnstiles are programmed to accept the party tickets after 4 pm. :hyper: The CM will give you a braclet to wear as well. :bounce: We totally plan on taking advantage of getting in early next year. I didn't know about this little feature last year!!

I got in at 6 Sunday and there were LOTS of people there ahead of me.

The schedule is posted on a thread titled MVMCP November 30.

We got in on 11/30 at 5 p.m. We had a PS at LTT but no one asked if we did.

This is done to avoid having party guests who are visiting during the day leave and turn around to get right back in. The Magic Kingdom will close at 6pm and the party does not start until 7pm. During that hour, guests with wristbands will be directed to Tomorrowland, where some entertainment and attractions will be available.

Again, the party does not start at 4pm. This is intended as a courtesy to guests already inside the park, and not as a bonus for guests only visiting for the party.
