My me and my DW will be in Walt Disney World Nov 16-19. As I am planning, it looks as though the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party will be on November 17th, actually one of the days we planned to be at MK, if I buy tix to the party and go, will it be easier to go and get on the busy rides, like Tron or Tiana’s Bayou, will the lines be shorter?

TIA

The lines will be a bit shorter. If your only goal is shorter lines and not the Xmas parade and fireworks I would look at the party ticket cost vs day ticket cost if you added LLMP & LLSP. First thing in the morning on party days parks are pretty quite so you could pretty much do all of MK before you have to leave if you utilize that time wisely with LLs.

The waits will be shorter because there will not be as many guests at the party as there is on a normal day and many focus on meeting the characters and the more limited time offerings.
But if shorter waits is your ultimate goal then I'd skip the party.
You can likely get more done during the day especially i f you opt to buy LLSP/LLMP.
Due to the shortened park hours people tend to avoid MK on party days which can work in your favor.
Personally I always get park hopper so then I can go to MK first half of the day and then go to a different park instead of ending my park day early.
