Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

Could someone tell me what day they tape the christmas parade? At first I heard December 4th and then I saw December 3rd. We are hoping to avoid MK the day that they tape the parade, but we already have 2 ADR's and MVMCP on the 4th, so I'm hoping it's on the 3rd instead!

We're going Dec 17 - 24, I'm so excited! I was wondering if the special parade and fireworks happen for "regular folks" after the parties end or is going to MVMCP the only way to see them... Trying to gather information to make decisions!

The parade is being taped on 12/2 and 12/3 with 12/4 as a rain date. So, hopefully it will be nice on those 2 days and you won't have to worry about it on 12/4. It is being taped from 7:00 - about 4:00 pm I think.

It is usually very crowded that week due to the Christmas Holiday - the closer to December 25th the crowds get bigger and bigger. aw:

Thanks for the tip! I am from Florida and we usually go to VMCP earlier in the December but I thought it would be fun to stay at WDW and then go home on Christmas Eve. It is only about a three hour drive. We have drove to WDW after opening Christmas presents before and then stayed that week but never stayed the week before.............I remember being at WDW on Christmas and it was a nightmare! Well, not a nightmare but it was really crowded. We are used to going in February. The parks are never crowded and we can ride any ride about 10 times!

Cool site. Based on an itinerary I came up with a few weeks ago for our trip at the end of the month and into Dec, every day that I picked except 1 works out to be a good day to visit based on that web site.

We got our MVMCP tix for 12/11 in the mail yesterday! SO excited! That's the day before my birthday AND the 11-month mark of my girlfriend and I dating... so we're totally psyched!!

We leave for WDW in 18 days! for our family honeymoon! We are going to MVMCP on DEcember 1st! We cant wait to go! We received all of our travel vouchers and our tickets to Mickeys party last week and I cant help taking them out and looking at them everyday!

We all really need this vacation and both my son and my husband are excited that the trip is finally here!

We're going to MVMCP Sun., Dec. 11 (never been to MVMCP). Not going to MK that day, just the party. We plan on arriving around 4 p.m., so I figured we'd eat counter service before the party. Should we wait until 6 p.m., or will everything be packed then? What land do the MVMCP people go to between 6-7 p.m.?

I just received my tickets in the mail yesterday, and they are for the wrong date. I had discussed two dates with the CM who booked them for me, and I ended up choosing the 1st of Dec. The tickets I received yesterday are for 12/4. Will that be a busier date to go to the MVMCP, or should I just stick with what I got and not go through the trouble of mailing tickets back? I had planned for 12/1 as I figured a weekday would be better than Sunday for the party.

We usually try to eat around 5:30 when people are leaving the park but all of the counter service places are still open. I think some of the counter services places close between 6:00 and 7:00 to get ready, so you'll need to get your food before 6:00 if you go to one that closes. You used to get directed to Tomorrowland until the party started, but this year MNSSHP was Adventureland, so I'm not sure if MVMCP will be different this year or not. Not sure we'll know until someone posts after the first party.
