It must be getting close to my time to go, I am up here on the planning boards, first time since the Spring. :cool1:

Is there a thread anywhere that lists the people who are going to MVMCP on what days? I know there has been a thread like that in past years here.

Hey, Dan, nice to see you outside the Community Board! :wave2: Haven't seen you at all in awhile.

I'll be there from November 26 to December 2, going to MVMCP on my 40th BD, November 29! Maybe we'll see you around?! We're staying at the CR Tower.

LOL, I do venture off the CB a few times a year, Laura, trip time mostly. :goodvibes It would be great to meet up with you, miss missy, or whomever. Would love to. ::MickeyMo It looks like you two are frequent posters on this thread. :faint: :teeth:

Yes, I do frequent this thread because MVMCP is one of my favorite things about Disney in December!!

We'll have to figure something out as it gets closer...love to finally meet you! I missed out on the Boston meet!

You can add us to the 18th! We got our tickets in the mail last week. I am soooo excited. This is my first trip to Disney and I'm being brave. It's just me and my twin 6 yr olds. :) We will be in Disney from 12/15-12/21 staying at Pop Century. :cheer2:

How do they get all "normal guests" out of the park for 7pm? so that only mvmcp ticket holders are in the park for the party?

I just don't see how this could happen?

surely anyone can go with or without tickets?????

please correct me if I am wrong I am very curious about the whole thing!!!!

They clear out the park from 6:00p to 7:00p; all those without wristbands are asked to leave and cannot ride the rides that are still open in the land they send party goers to.

I don't get what's mean? Asking those not attending the party to leave when the park closes at 6:00p? I certainly don't think that's mean. I'm glad those not attending are escorted out.

Is asking those attending the party, with wristbands to stay in Tomorrowland while they clear out the park mean??

I'm confused as to what's mean? :confused3

sorry let me explain, when I went around christmas time two years ago the park seemed to be open untill very late anyway. Hence the reason I thought it was mean to ask people to leave!!!!

I think I went after 20th december though, so what you say makes sense and it seems to me like it could be a really good experience!!!

I will seriously concider buying a ticket now.

Thanks :wizard:

Yeah, on non-party nights the park is open a little later, and then closer to Christmas it is open VERY late (to the public). The park hours are posted as closing at 6 though, so the public is aware of the shorter hours.

Actually, that's how I found out about MVMCP (before these boards ;)) ... I called to ask if they were serious that the MK closed at 6 while we were there!? :rotfl:

you can appreciate why I was confused then!!!!! :teeth:

I don't actually arrive in florida untill the 16th December, will the MVMCP be too busy on the 18th/20th???

I will be there Dec 16th and 18th. It will be me my DD 10, her best friend 11, and my niece 1. We will be staying at the POP Century the 16th thru the 20th. :crazy2:

I am going to be there for Christmas. I am bummed b/c the MVMCP is over on the 20th, but we will be @ WDW from 12/23 - 12/26. Staying at POFQ. I haven't been to MVMCP before, and I was thinking I would get to experience it, but now I know....
:(

We have a few questions I hope someone can anwser for us:

1) We are going to attend on a weeknight between 12/2 and 12/9. I'm concerned about purchasing tickets ahead of time in case of rain. Does the party tend to see out on weeknights? Are we risking not being able to attend by not buying tickets in adcance?

2) What discount is availabe with the AP?

3) What other discounts are available for AP holders?

3) Is there a published any where? I tried looking through this thread but it is so large.

Thanks & Happy Holidays to All!!!!

1. The party doesn't tend to sell out during the week, but I would suggest buying as soon as you feel comfortable. I'm not sure if you can get the AP discount buying at the gate vs. ahead of time.

2. Advance purchase prices Sunday through Thursday
Age 10 & up $41.49
Age 3-9 $31.90

Friday nights and day of event
Age 10 & up $46.81
Age 3-9 $37.23

Annual passholder discounts available November 29, December 1, 4 and 13
Age 10 & up $35.10
Age 3-9 $27.64

3. I recommend getting an AP ticket sleeve at any ticket window as it lists all AP discounts available.

4. A published what?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for all the typos.

My last question should have read, are the AP discounts published anywhere?
