They are avertising the buttons this year. I saw them on the wdw web sight.
I know that the pins are popular but they have special shirts for the party as well.

I'm looking for the location of this news also.

Thanks!

What are the best location(s) to watch the parade and the fireworks? :confused3 We will be at the party on 12/6.

Can anyone tell me how long the shows last?? :confused3 I'm thinking 20-30 but want to be sure.
THanks

I know somewhere in this thread is the answer to my question but I cannot find it using the search so I ask....

What are the times for the two parades and especially what is the time of the special edition Wishes fireworks?

The reason I ask is the night we arrive Dec. 11th we are eating at 'Ohanas and hope to catch a glimpse of the fireworks after we eat.

thanks,

Exact times won't be known probably until the first party guests post after the fact, but from memory the parades run around 8 PM and 1030 PM with a 915 fireworks show,

Hi, I was just wondering after looking at another website if it's true that the actual Mickey Christmas Parade in the Magic Kingdom doesnt start until December 21st? I saw that the Party starts sometime in November so does this mean that the parade isnt part of the party?

:wizard: :pug:

I have a question...This is what is says on The Dis page regarding the MVMCP and the Christmas parade:

2005 PARADE SCHEDULE:

December 21 through 23 - 3:00pm

December 24 through 31 - 12:30PM and 3:30pm

But then it says that the Party starts on Nov 27th and ends Dec 20th.
I thought the parade was part of the party; how come, according to the above, the parade doesn't start until the day after the party ends? :confused3

HAHA! HEY SPECTRO, GOOD QUESTION! LOL! :rotfl2:

The party does include the parade. When the MVMCPs end, the parade takes place in the afternoon and doesn't require a separate ticket to see.

What they probably mean is as of December 21, the Christmas parade starts daily at 3:00p instead of Share a Dream come True. The Christmas parade will also be shown at all the parties weather permitting!

We have a birthday Wishes Vruise booked for December 6th which is a MVMCP night. I understand that Wishes will not be that night. However, will we be able to see some type of foreworks from our boat? Thanks.

Wishes IS shown on MVMCP nights, just not to the general public. It is held during the party, around the same time (9ish). I'd double check with Disney, but I assume you'll be watching that showing of Wishes from your boat. Hope that helps!

Except that the fireworks at MVMCP are all new this year, called Holidaywishes...I have a feeling they will be quite different from Wishes this year just as Hallowishes at MNSSHP was. It might be set to holiday music this year just as Hallowishes was set to Halloween muisc.

Can't wait to see them!

Hi there! We can't wait to go! We'll be there on our 4th wedding anniversary (12/1), so if you see a goofy couple :love2: walking around, please call out a happy anniversary wish!

Where is the best place to see Holidaywishes from? In years past I've seen the fireworks from Frontierland and Tomorrowland, but this year I'd like the full experience! Should we be lining up on Main Street at 8 or what? :earseek:

Thank-you for clearing things up. I was getting a little confused on what was going on during MVMCP. This is our first time going to Disney and we our celebrating our son's birthday on the boat and are excited to see the fireworks and celebrate his birthday on board as a surprise.

I would recommend somewhere around the hub so you get the full effect of the fireworks. Since you're going on a Thursday night, it shouldn't be too crowded. Fine a spot for the paarde at 8 then just stay there for the fireworks.

It must be getting close to my time to go, I am up here on the planning boards, first time since the Spring. :cool1:

Is there a thread anywhere that lists the people who are going to MVMCP on what days? I know there has been a thread like that in past years here.
