Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

Miss Missy, Thanks for answering my post. Just the info I was looking for. Looks like we'll be going on the 29th after all! I'm very excited as it will be my 1st MVMCP!! I did want to ask another question. Is there a photo-op at MVMCP with a "real" Santa?? Or is it one of the character's dressed up in a "Santa" costume? Also, does anyone know where i can take the kids on WDW property to get a photo with the "real" Santa??? Thanks once again~~~

EPCOT has Santa and Mrs. Claus at the American pavillion.

Will there be fastpasses for rides that are open during the party? I'm wondering if the FP machines will be distributing passes for say 6:00 or 7:30, after the non-party-going guests s/b gone?

Is this only on party nights? And do they have someone there to take pics for you? Thanks

Make sure you get your tickets asap, they could sell out. If you don't wanna miss out, don't wait. Not sure about the santa thing...

I got my dd's picture taken with Santa at DTD last year. Can't remember how much it was, but we bought a frame, an 8x10, and some wallets I think.

Their is also a Santa at DTD I usually get my DDs pic there every year. They do the digital pics and offer packages.

Epcot has the Santas or their Mythical holiday person from every country telling their stories and traditions. The American Adventure has our Mr and Mrs Claus and you can sit on his lap and whisper what you want. Their is a photographer available for pics. They are scheduled every hour or something like that. Their is a schedule of the times they appear in each country.

Miss Missy, oh wow do you think they will sell out for 11/29?? Have the tix for MVMCP ever sold out before the night of???

This photo was taken at EPCOT, as far as I know Santa and Mrs. Claus are available every night. They were located on the right hand side under the gazabo and people lined up for their turn. The line moved quickly and I don't think alot of people realized that Santa was even there.

Yes, they had the roving CM photographers available to take your picture they were also very gracious and allowed me to take pictures with my own camera.

We also found a English Santa in the courtyard behing England and Scotland. This Santa explained the English version of Christmas in character and afterwards posed for pictures with the kids. It very interesting and enjoyable as well as educational for the kids.

I don't want to sound mean but do you just want to look in the shops on your way out? or will it turn into they aren't bothering us without the wristbands so let's watch the fireworks, parade ,shows ,anything but go on the rides and they won't notice. if everyone that doesn't want to buy a ticket comes up with this idea it isn't fair to have extra people in the park when other people have paid about $40.00 a person to stroll around without all the crowd that's why they only sell so many tickets. and not saying you don't want to buy tickets or anything just wondring if other people may come up with this idea. don't take it wrong

Good question. :earseek:

This is my first, but I now some of these parties sell out and I wouldn't take a chance. I would order them now and have them at "will call" for pickup. Why take a chance? But that is just me ...

Are there benefits either way to having your MVMCP tickets at will call or having them mailed to you?

There is a $3 shipping charge. When I ordered mine, the cast member told me that will call was not an option unless the event was in less than ten days. I think she was wrong as I've heard others say that they chose will call, but it wasn't worth arguing over the $3 charge.

Two years ago I used Will Call and we ordered about 4 weeks before the party.

Last year and this year I have had them sent to my home, I feel better having them in my hands!

Have fun!

I've never been to Disneyworld before, if you can believe it, and I'm wondering if there's a place at the Christmas Party where you can get your picture taken where the lines are a little shorter. I want to make sure we have time to see EVERYTHING we can! Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks a ton!!

They will all get pretty long but if you can get to one around 7:00p or wait till the second parade it will be less crowded.

They do sell out and I believe it looks like some dates are already sold out for this year.

I bought mine on the Disney web site and it gave me a printed voucher to pick my tickets up at the park.
