Mickey's PhilharMagic opening date available?

I've read about Magic Kingdom's new 3D attraction, Mickey's PhilharMagic, opening in spring/summer of this year. Does anyone know of the official start date?

Maybe Safari Steve will come along with more info, but I don't think its opening this summer. Last I heard was just 2003 and some rumors have it opening much later in the year.

Basically, no one really knows.

We're hoping for an opening date by October, at least. Would be great to catch Mission Space and Mickey's Philharmagic at the same time.

If not, that's a great reason for another trip soon after!!!!

This was taken from the screamscape.com site. I don't know how accurate it is, but I've read Sept/Oct has been the target opening date of this attraction for a while now.

2003 - PhilharMagic - (4/7/03) A good source tells me that Disney has set October 9th as the Media Event date for PhilharMagic.

I don't think that they are planning on it opening during summer time anymore. They just had a press release and they didn't even mention PhilharMagic in it. I've seen that is was origionally spring/summer and then summer/fall and now they are only saying 2003. From what I've heard is that they ran into so technical difficulties with installation of a couple of things.
