I'm probably not going to make door decorations. It's not that I'm a humbug or anything. I like looking at other people's creative efforts. If we were going with our kids, and they wanted to decorate, I'd let them and I'd help them in anyway I could. In the past, we've made Mickey head magnets out of the Mickey Head paint chips from Home Depot. We wrote our names on each head. That's all.

I wouldn't mind wearing matching or theme oriented shirts for dh and me. Maybe I'll create shirts that say something unimaginative like "Love 'em But Leave 'Em, Parents-Only Cruise, September 2008"

Or how about "Kids? What kids? :"

Tink, Every cartoon or graphic I think of to go with that would surely get me some ugly looks from people who don't have our sense of humor.

We'll it's almost 3pm. Time to go to the "gym". As Patty knows, my "gym" has an exclusive members' list - only three people - me, myself, and I. I (trainer) supervise me (client) all by myself.

Today the hurricane predictions come out. They are saying that one of the experts feels it might be as bad this year as the historic 2005 season. I can't wait to see what they say. I know we have been getting a lot of rain lately, which is good in a drought, but this is the "dry" season. Makes me wonder what the rainy/ hurricane season will bring.

NOOOOOOO, I don't want to hear about hurricanes.... please keep them away. (at least during our trip). Please do post what you find out, I haven't been up on the news lately. One good thing to workout out each day is I sure am tired at night, so I am not staying up late.

Just jump back in. We're all here, getting to know each other. some of us are more vocal than others, but that's ok. I think it's great that I'll 'know' some friends on board when september comes. Hope everything is going well with you (since you've been mia).

Patricia, I hear ya. The chances of us having a hurricane around our cruise are slim but there is a chance. Also, if there is a hurricane in the area, the chances of the cruise being canceled are even more slim but there might be more motion in the ocean. I"ll be sure to keep you updated on what the prediction is. Living in FL, we are all about predictions. We even have a tax free week for hurricane supplies.

Hayley sorry for your loss. The only thing I have personally found to help me heal is to remember all the fun times. My deepest sympathies.

Well, my Passporter still has NOT come from Amazon!!!! I'm frustrated since it's been out for a little while now. I'm tempted to go to borders and buy one and then take mine back there when it comes in. I only ordered it from Amazon cause I had a gift certificate. Now, I wish I'd gotten something else. Oh, well, they 'claim' they are sending another copy and I should have it on the 7th (they are doing 2day shipping this time). I'll keep you posted, as I am dying to start going through it.

Hey, Hayley, I'm sorry to hear about your grandpop. I never met my dad's dad, and I was only 11 when my mom's dad passed. I was just getting to know him as a person and not just a giver of quarters. LOL I think I'd miss him worse if I knew him better. Glad you're back, though.

Tink, thanks for the encouragement. I seriously didn't have time to exercise today. We were away most of the day and had an appointment at my house after that. I don't exercise after a certain time in the afternoon because I won't be able to get to sleep until 2am!



I want to know who invited winter back for a return engagement. It was 45 degrees today. Right now it's probably in the upper 30's and raining!

I've heard those bands work! haven't tried them myself though.

Thanks for cheering us on, got to the gym this am, but know I will NOT be there tomorrow, doing an overnight scrap tonight, so I'll be very tired tomorrow, but hopefully I get caught up some.
