I am starting to get scared of Hanna now... and I am not one to normally worry. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I wanted to update you all that I was finally able to reach Chase's father and Chase is spending the weekend with this dad. I am happy that Chase can see his daddy. We do not ever discuss child support with each other outside of the courts so I have no idea what is going on there. :confused3
I am praying for all of those in Gustovs way. There is no getting out of the destruction that storm is going to cause. :sad2: The hurricane is so huge that we are having feeder bands hit us right now. My brother and newphews live in Houston so I am really interested in where this storm ends up hitting. I just pray it isn't a direct hit on New Orleans. I would also advise to fill up your cars now because gas will sky rocket with all of the oil rigs that are going to be affected in the gulf.
In Hannah news....the forecast models are still having a hard time determining where it is going to. It is suppose to hit the Bahamas around Mon/Tue this coming week. After that some models have it going over southern FL, others have it hiting up higher on the east coast of FL, and yet others have it turning and going back out to sea (I hope I hope). The weatherman said if it does start heading towards FL we will start feeling the effects on Friday. Well, if we do end up geting bused to Ft Lauderdale, I hope we are all on the same bus. Party DIS bus! hehe It will sure be interesting to see if we end up on a special itenary cruise or not. ;)

Ok, I have got to stay off the NOAA site. I was just about in tears looking at Hanna. It cannot ruin our trip! I have worked so hard planning for this cruise, vow renewal and vacation! Praying for it to go back out to sea (or somewhere that it won't affect us all).

It looks like we are going to have a full ship. I was bored and decided to see what would happen if I tried to book this cruise now. Besides being twice the amount I have already paid, there was only one cabin left on the whole ship! I really didn't think this time of year would have such a full sailing but obviously I was wrong.

Dawn,

I had to go check it out. I've heard Disney normally does not have any open cabins. They are typically all full sails. Surprisingly that the cabin available is not the one Mary just gave up, so looks like hers is gone already.

yeah, I was surprised it wasn't hers also. The only thing I can think of is they upgraded someone to hers already or they just didn't release it back into circulation.

Well my mother said she heard Hannah was to make landfall on the eastcoast of FL as a Cat 1 hurricane the Monday after we leave. Now, I am not sure where she heard this from because I could not verify that information. I did look up the most recent projected path http://www.weather.com/maps/news/atlstorm8/projectedpath_large.html?from=hp_news and if it will not be a slow mover then it should be far enough away as to not pose a problem. Of course, as we know from many other systems we probably wont know for sure until Friday. I'm still hopeful and keeping my fingers crossed!:goodvibes

Dawn,

I don't want to wish harm on anyone, but I like that map better, lol. Anything that won't interfer with us will be a blessing! Thanks for the updates!

Now that I have packed everything I can possibly pack (that isn't in use) I feel sort of sad. I want to pack something else! I like getting prepared. I did have our pirate swords packed until I read they were forbidden on the boat. Glad I found that out before hand! Other then that, I really want something else to do to get ready for the trip. I know I have to wash the dogs, get laundry done, and finish vacuming but that has NOTHING to do with the cruise! It makes me more inpatient staring at my packed bags and not be able to take them anywhere!

Ok, I just watched the most recent Hannah update and it looks better. :woohoo: They expect that by Friday the storm will be up by Georgia/ South Carolina. Let us hope it keeps on that track and keeps up it's speed! (No, I don't wish harm on anyone but it should not be harmful/ just lots of wind and rain):goodvibes

I have safely arrived in Orlando after a three hour delay. I ended up buying a new laptop duty free (have been meaning to all year) so I managed to get online using the complimentary wireless internet at the hotel. We will leave for the airport to catch the DCL shuttle within the next 15 minutes or so. See you soon!

So glad to hear you arrived safely! Enjoy your cruise on the Magic!!! I pray the seas are calm for you and you have a fantastic time!!

Update on Hannah.....still looking good for our cruise on the 7th. Current models show it going ashore up north (georgia area) on Friday and well inland by TN by 2am Saturday. So here is praying that that remains the case!:upsidedow

Had I not changed my date then Hannah would be probably hit FL as a cat 4 on Sunday. :rotfl2:

Oh well. Atlantis is a big part of the trip for us so I just didn't want to take the chance. I hope you all have a wonderful time!!

I changed my 11/09 Magic cruise to a 12/13/09 4 night on the wonder--incase you all decide to rebook on board.:) I hear that the ships are very nice at Christmas time. :santa: The price is pretty good too.:hippie:

Uggh, hope it's ok for us to drive on 95 on Friday night/Saturday Morning. We should hit GA maybe about Sun-up on Saturday. I think I will make sure I am driving since DM doesn't like to drive in the rain as it is. But I am sooooo glad that she is getting out of dodge before we leave!
