I wanted to buy a MVMCP t-shirt last year, but the merchandise only comes out DURING the party. And when we got to the shop, it was so packed we could barely get in the door. The line wound all the way to the back of the store.

I highly suggest having something WITH you!

They sell some of the shirts and pins at the resorts the day of the party and later in Oct the stuff is out all the time (at least the past two years it has been, I have picked up the shirts at DD). the only unique merchandise that you could only buy at the party was pins, I think there were several unique ones and there was a series of pins released (sorry I am not wise in pins).

I saw Pumpkin Donald at the Dance party by Ariel's grotto, only place I saw Daisy was in the parade

I hope not!!! We are going to the Sept. 11th party and I am not buying our tickets until late August.

I'm so excited for my 1st MNSSHP! I can't wait to see all the Alice in Wonderland characters (I think it's weird no Cheshire Cat, though ) and I would LOVE to get my picture taken with Snow White and the 7 dwarfs! We have a 5:15 ADR at Tony's the night of the party so I hope we get finished eating in time for me to find Snow White!

So we are going to be in the world from the 8th to the 14th of Oct and we have plans to do the party twice the 8th and 12th or the 13th(mon and tue).From you MNSSHP vetreans are the frist part to the middle of Oct ussually pretty busy? and buy early or wait to we get there just I case It rains?.

I'm so excited! This will be our first MNSSHP. I'm going as a 50's girl (gotta get busy on my skirt) and DS 4 is going to be a pirate. We will be there the week leading up to Halloween, so we have several options available. I was originally thinking we would go Tuesday the 27th, but now wonder if Sunday would be less crowded. I have to make up mind, any opinions?

I would say that a week day would be less crowded. Definately not a Friday or Sat cause the locals come out more then obviously cause their kids are off school so I have found we went on Monday for MVMCP and a Thurs for MNSSHP and both were great! Just walked on the rides!

No. It usually doesn't sell out till the end of Aug, beginning of Sept.

None of those earlys parties SHOULD sell out. But the truth is, there's no way to know. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't some Tuesday night early on sell out last year?????

Does anyone think that Columbus Day will impact the crowds that much for the 8th? I would normally think it would, but when we were there last week it just didnt seem that crowded, compared to years past. We were going to avoid that weekend, but my DS turns 10 on the 8th, and since we are going anyway for his birthday, I would like to actually go on his birthday. I thought crowd levels might be down so it wouldnt be that big of an issue.
