Are you attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on October 3rd?? Then sign up here and see what other Dis'ers will be there too! :)

We will be there! 2 adults, no kids. I hope its not too early to celebrate Halloween...I'm sure we'll get in the spirit as soon as we get there, though. :)

We will be there (myself, DH, DS-8 & DS-5). This will be our first MNSSHP and I can't wait. Now, if my husband will only dress up!!!!

We'll be there too!!! It will be my DH, DD (age 3) and myself. Cant' wait, this is my first holiday event at WDW.

We will there too (myself, dh and ds6)! It will also be our first time to MNSSHP! Any costume ideas?

I was wondering about costumes too. I didn't think adults dressed up, but after seeing a few posts I guess some do. I did read one about pumpkin tees. I guess she brought orange tees and then black felt and let everyone make their own jack-o-lantern shirt, I thought that was cute.

DS11 and I will be there. I'm planning a surprise birthday trip for him, he'll turn 12 on October 5.

This will be our first Holiday at WDW.

Is it common for older kids and adults to dress up? Do you think we'll get any odd looks?

I'm trying to talk my husband into going on October 3. We have three kids (9, 6, and 1). I'm afraid that it will be too crowded on a Friday night and the kids will be too tired to enjoy it. Someone please help convince me, so I can convince DH!

I too am worried about crowds, but since we've never seen the MK decorated for the holidays I thought it would be neat. And the crowds can't be half as bad as what we had last June(example of cowded - 90min wait for It's a Small World LOL), so I went ahead and bought tickets.

We'll have a 3 yr. old with us and are planning on visiting MK in the AM for a few hours, grab some lunch and head back the the AKL to rest for a few hours. We have PS at LLT for 6pm and then will stay for the party until she/we get tired. We're not using the EE method this time, so we plan on sleeping in a bit later the next morning. Plus we have another full day at the park, so we're going to do some rides, but mainly do the special things like treat-or-treating and the parades and such.

Count us in!

I don't think we'll have costumes this time. When we were there in 2001, we noticed about half of all the adult were NOT in costumes.

We have ordered tickets!! Never been to the party before. I made reservations at LTT for 5:30, but wonder if that's a good idea since....the park closes at 6:00; the party starts at 7:00. Between 6 and 7, I'm told by CRO, the rides will remain open to MNSSHP ticket holders only. Wouldn't this be a great time to ride???

We have gone the past two years. I like doing this because it forces my DS to eat a little healthy before the treats & rides. It is a lot of fun to see 5 of the characters in costume. I asked this in another message you had. Did you get reservations for LTT already? I called and was told not until 60 days out this year.

bkline- try again. I've had my PS for Oct. 3 @ 6pm since Thurs. I have heard some of the CMs don't know they can book the LLT in conjunction with MNSSHP. Some folks are having problems and just calling back and getting their PSs.

Greetings!
DW and I will be there for our first MNSSHP. We're so excited - we might even dress up!

One question: I just ordered my tickets from 407WDISNEY, and CM Ed told me that they should arrive sometime in September, because that's when they are printed. Yet I thought that I've read that some folks have already received theirs in the mail. Any info appreciated.

Thanks. I tried again today and get PS. The only difference this year is I had to give a Credit card # to get the PS#.

DrTomorrow - we got ours already. I ordered through the DC 800 number, but I can't imagine that it would be any different. They are plastic cards like regular passes, they just have the MNSSHP date and time printed on the back. The last time we went to MNSSHP was 1998 and at that time I remember having actual printed paper tickets. I'm guessing you'll receive yours soon.

Thanks, KristinU.

I just get a little bit nervous when Disney tells me something that doesn't sound right; thankfully, I have the wonderful folks at DIS to help me out:)

bkline- They asked you for a cc #??? Did they ask that of everyone getting PS? They didn't ask me for anything, except, name, where we're staying and # in party.

I swear the trainers for the CMs really need to get their act together and start training the new ones one way. LOL

Pammy

We've not gotten any tickets in the mail yet, but they said they'd send them and did not indicate any delay....I didn't know to ask at the time.

Our PS reservation did not require a credit card #.
