Sounds like fun. I'm just not sure we can get everyone together during an event like this. Maybe early like 4:00, before the party begins and everyone goes to dinner.
When my oldest son went to MNSSHP in 2002 he was 6 years old and dressed up as Spiderman. It was great and the characters loved it and really interacted with him about his costume. This year neither boy 5 & 9 has decided what they are dressing as. You will see all sorts of costumes, not just Disney inspired. Whatever you do, make sure it is light weight. We were very hot the night we went.
I was thinking that I would dress my DS(6) as a as he hates wearing "costumes" and it would be easy, my DD(10) may go as a princess (I think). She'll probably wear the dress she wore as a junior brides maid for my sister in law (in pic below). She wanted to wear her dressup cheerleader outfit she has that she uses around the house but DH said "No way, too short!!" DH & I will probably be nerds or something. Just want to do something easy. We are use to wearing costumes over snowsuits here.... so this will be something new.
We are a family of five. Still deciding on costumes.
Here's a question for anyone who's been at Halloween before: Do they sell MNSSHP t shirts in the shops the whole month (not just during the parties)?
That way we could get our shirts ahead of time and wear them to the party! Anybody know?
