Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Discount

Disney just released the dates for this year's MNSSHP.
September 2016 Dates
September 2, 8, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 29 & 30

October 2016 Dates
October 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 & 31

The prices have not been released yet. Does anyone know or have a guess as to what dates with have a DVC or AP discount?

My guess is most of the September dates and those in the first week of October, but not 9/30 or 10/7. If there is a discount, it will probably be $2 or $3 per ticket with usual limit on the number a member or passholder can purchase.

wish they'd release the cost as same time as the dates, makes planning easier as ADRs right around the corner for us.

Last year the last discounted party in Oct was Tues Oct 20-if they hold true to that I'd guess the 18th would be the last discounted party (Fridays were not discounted to my recollection). The discount last year was $4 per ticket with a limit of 8 tickets per member if I recall correctly. Also the parties in Sept cost less to begin with than Oct last year. Who knows how high the Ickes will be this year with the announcement (and prices) of these new after hours events.

I really want to go this year to see the new Hocus Pocus stage show. We are planning on doing the DVC AK Event on 9/22 and there is a MNSSHP on 9/23. Tempting.

We lucked out. I had planned a friends get together for Sept 11-16 11 months out! Scored a value 2 bedroom, and we hit the Halloween party, the night AK event and beginning of F& W!

Lucky you! Sounds like a very memorable trip! (I'm jealous re the AK event. We arrive a couple of days after the last one, so we willo miss it).

We'll be there during 3 of the Sept dates. We went to MNSSHP 2 years ago. It was fun for the DW and myself, but don't feel the need to do it again. Instead we'll chill out in the TOTW bar at BLT and enjoy the fireworks.

We just started tentatively planning a quickie Sept. trip too (have to borrow points tho & have a Dec UY so want to be SURE it's a go before I book it)!! We have never been to MNSSHP - definitely want to check it out if we go tho!

What is the Night AK event? I hadn't heard about this. We're thinking of going 9/17-21....

Yes as the party takes over the whole MK-the party is from 7-12 but they allow earlier admission into MK starting at 4 pm with a MNSSHP ticket (assuming everything is the same as last year)
