Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central 2004!!!!!! =0)

Disneygrl36, I've added you to the MNNSHP 10/31 list. It's on the Theme Parks Attractions and Startegies board. It lists info regarding a meet for that night. Hope to see you there.:D

Jobomom, I'm sorry to hear that you arn't going to make it that night.:( Hopefully you can find another Great way to celebrate your B-day.

Gina,

I haven't really given up yet! I'm still looking everyday on ebay and waiting for a pm response from one person! Don't completely count me out yet! ;)

If you do grab up some tickets, please let me know and I will add you on the list. The more the merrier.:D Hoping you can get them.

Michele--it's my 37th too. Yikes is right...but you know what I don't feel 37 & especially at WDW. Sorry you didn't get tickets for the party but have a great bday anyway. I was a little bummed cause I wanted to go to the Cali Grill that night for dinner before the party but they were having a special Food & Wine event & I didn't really want to do that so we are having dinner with Cinderelly at 1900 Park Fare before the party which should be fun. How has it been for you having a Halloween bday? People are always intrigued for some reason when they find out I'm a halloween baby. Wish it came with some special powers. :teeth:

Momof2OH--I will look into the info about the meet. Thanks for adding me on.

Only 50 day til I'm there.
Woooooooooooo hoooooooooooooo!!!!!

Melanie,

I've always loved having my bday on Halloween! When I was little (like 1st grade), I thought the whole world was celebrating my birthday. Parade and party at school, come home and get gifts, then the whole town gives you candy!!! What's better than that???? I always feel sorry for people that have their birthday on or near Christmas b/c they get less! I always got more!

I also tell my DH that October is "Happy Bday to me MONTH!" I expect special treatment and surprises all month long. I don't always get it, but sometimes! One year he even dressed as Mickey as a surprise for me! I was Minnie that year.

I still hope to get tickets, so maybe we can celebrate together! If not enjoy your day!

The only thing I'm now worried about is we've already got our costumes in order, now I'm concerned adults won't be dressed up on the earlier dates in October. (We're going on the 3rd.)

We're going Oct 1st-- and we are dressing up. I figure we'll get plenty of "looks" walking through the MK at 4pm on our way to dinner-- oh well-- we'll have fun!!

Hey Guys with Halloween B-Day's. I agree with Jobomom, I love having my birthday on Halloween.

I used to tell people everyone celebrates my birthday, they just don't know it. I will be 44 this year Disneygrl36 & Michele and some days I don't feel a day over 35 (LOL), others I definitely feel older than 44.

We are going to MNSSHP on the 29th, but we have got some great plans for my birthday. We are doing breakfast at Donald's Restaurantosaurs and then dinner at Hollywood & Vine with reserved seating for Fantasmic.

Happy Birthday to all Halloween Babies. If any of you are like me, nothing bad EVER happens on your birthday.

:teeth: :teeth:

Well, it sounds like no matter what all us Halloween babies are going to be having great birthday celebration at WDW...hmmm wonder if Disney obsession & Halloween birthdays are linked somehow.

I love my halloween bday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy birthday to my fellow Halley Spooks (that's what my grandmother used to call me when I was little).:teeth:

Woo Hoo!! Finally ordered my 20th tix today. DS a skater boy and DD a cheerleader (Cornhuskers!!) I am so looking forward to this party!!!

Okay, I'm starting to feel guilty about not dressing up on the 1st.
I could wear my old clothes that don't fit and go as a bag lady. Okay, I'll keep working on it.
There are kid's t-shirts in the shops at MK as of today, but nothing for adults.
I'll keep you all posted.
Lynn

Yeah....I got my tickets today!! Mickey and Minnie for the 28th!! My DD's birthday is Halloween, but we are having a party at home so we wanted to celebrate both places....as she gets older I hope she enjoys her Halloween birthday as much as I do!!!

I Wanna GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Now i am very sad that i didn't read this thread before. I came on tonight to look for free things to do in wdw, becouse I just booked a 7 night sept Magic cruise for my boys in 05. It was a hudge toss up between a eastern in sept and a western on the the 23 of oct. (oct 24th is my sons Bday.) He will be 8 next year but wants to go to St.Martinn so I booked the sept cruise as a surprise. Now i will be looking into this halloween thing more and maybe changing our trip. What a great time it sounds like. some Questions for ya. 1, Is Oct still off season at the hotels? 2, How much are the value resorts, I think we would get off the ship on the 30th. 3. If I don't change our res. Is there free stuff to do if we stay at a disney hotel in sept? I was thinking about Hotel and pool hopping, 4 can you just vistit the hotels and ride the boats here and there? 5, Shopping and such? 6, My sons are hudge pirate fans I would like for them to be able to get a new flag, the big ones, some kind of pirate one and then mabe a mickey one also for there room. Like 5ft by 2 or 3ft. Do you know were and for how much I could find them? More planning work for me. 6, How far in advance can you buy tickets for the mnsshp? 7, what does that stand for anyway? Thanks.

Go to mousesavers.com for rates and any discounts and such. It will also list rates for the values.

One suggestion since you mentioned your kids like pirates. There is a pirate cruise for kids out of the Grand Floridian.

pirate cruise

Thanks they would love to do that. Maybe the day before our real cruise to kill time. Wonder if they get to walk the plank?

Just booked MNSSHP on my actual birthday!! Can't wait! Question about trick-or-treating......... How does it work? We're 2 adults (no kids) so would we look silly?? I just have quite the sweet tooth! ;) Thanks!

Hey if you want to borrow my kids, then I could go with DH ALONE!!!!! :drinking1 :drinking1

You can definitely trick or treat. You may want to wait until later in the evening, though. While you can go through all the lines as many times as you want, they only give you one or two pieces at a time, and I'd hate to waste a lot of time in line for that. But later in the evening when the lines are short I totally go for it!

By the way, I've settled on my costumes:

10/24: A Graduate

10/28: My mom and I are going to be Cleveland Browns football players.

10/31: A Prom Queen

See y'all there!

:) ;) :D :bounce:
We got our tickets today. A Mickey and a Goofy...
We will be there Oct. 3. We can't wait.
See you there!
