I would assume you can buy them at the gate the day of the event as long as tickets are still available. I can't believe Disney would turn away money!!!!!;)

Tickets can be bought at the gate the day of the party(assuming it isn't sold out) but they do run about 3 dollars more per ticket.

I have a question for anyone who can answer it. We'll be in Orlando during the week of October 1-8... we really want to go to MNSSHP, but I'm not sure if the budget can hold it or not. So I was thinking if we had extra money left over each day, maybe I could put that towards a night for MNSSHP. So this is my question...
Can tickets for MNSSHP be bought there, while we're in Orlando or do they have to be advance purchased?

If I can buy them there, where would I go to get them?

Thank you for any input!:D

Those dates don't usually sell out so you should be fine. I think if you buy them the day before you can still get the cheaper price but I'm not sure on that.

Thanks for all the information. I understand Oct. 1 is the first night of Mickey's Not So Scarey HP..It is also our last night in the park. What a way to end our trip. I'm hoping my teenage boys will enjoy it as well as our 8 year old daughter. :bounce:
Thanks again for the information....:wave2: :smooth:
Sportsmom1,
Welcome to Dis and the party on the 1st.
There is a thread for the 1st as we are planning on trying to meet up. Limegreen Mickeys and costumes, hmmmm.
Hope to see you on the 1st.

Just a thought, but if it looks like the budget will hold out, maybe you can buy the tickets the day before at Guest Services, without the extra $3 charge for the day of.

Would a Renaissance dress be too hot with all those layers? I found one on eBay that I love but I'm concerned I will burn up in it (going 10/31). Ooooh I wanna play dress up though!!! ;)

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us all the great tips!! We are going for the first time this year and can hardly wait!! :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy:

I just posted this over on the Community Board. Thought some might like to know that Target has put out their costumes and they have some really cute stuff. Just an idea for those going to MNSSHP. They even have adult costumes.

Yes, it is true. Girls don't want any Disney costumes this year.

I think we are finally princessed out. I was going to order this cute witch costume from Lillian Vernon for my youngest. It looks like patch work - $34.98.

Then went to Target yesterday and they had almost the same costume for $19.99! Very nice quality, plus I was able to buy a cute metallic broom for $2.99.

Just a heads up! Oh, and the sizes were already picked over! Alot of smalls only left. I couldn't get a matching one for my oldest in a size medium. So I drove over to another Target and same thing.

Plus, they have ALOT of really cool Halloween decorations, some that light up and move. The girls got a ghost for their rooms that light up. Pretty neat.

I love the idea of bringing a few things to dress up the room. We're going OCT/Nov and will be going back during Christmas Season. Great idea!

Gee I thought she meant their rooms at home but I really LOVE your idea about dressing up the resort room (if that is what you mean?). I was getting kinda jeleous of those talking about getting Christmas trees. I'm already sending a box of diapers and stuff to the resort so maybe I'll add a few Halloween decorations to the box too!

We already have a few things to take to decorate for Halloween. We were there for Christmas last year (drove that time). We took a small table top tree with lights and a few ornaments. Looked great in the room. Another idea for all of you going at Christmas, we stuck the daily mousekeeping tip in one of those tiny red chritmas stockings. I wrote Mousekeeping on the front of it in fabric paint.

Has anyone ordered any Disney/ Halloween themed gift basket? I am looking for something for my ds(7), but haven't been able to find anything at Disneyflorist or GOAL? Any suggestions?? TIA!

Is there a DIS meet on Oct. 14th? Where and when? We went to a DIS meet last year and really enjoyed it!

I ordered a cookie basket from Cookies by Design for my mom and kids. This is the basket that will be delivered to the resort.

Since there's a Cookie by Design close to WDW, they hand deliver them. I'll then have the resort deliver it to our room while were gone.

Do you have a link to a website to order the cookies? That is really cute.

beattyfamily...you sure are on top of everything, THANKS for posting the site.

btw, hope you can join us for the meet on 10/31.
