Thanks for the side trip to the new Tusker House!! We will be there in just 18 days and I can't wait to see it!! It's a short trip, but I'm not gonna have time to sleep if I keep adding stuff!

Lindsey, yet another fantastic trip report. I always keep my eye open for one of your threads, the way you write is wonderful and you can tell how much you love being there.

Our last trip was three years ago but we leave in 8 days! I can't wait to see all the new things, the castle looks amazing and I'm sure it will bring a tear to my eye.

We have PS's there for our May trip.

Would you say the choices were varied enough to make 6 of us happy? for the meat/potatoes people and the more adventurous?? There will be 4 adults and 2 kids in our party??

The paper straws held up very well and DH was very impressed. I don't like drinking without a straw either, so I am glad they finally have straws. I was shocked when our waiter gave us two straws and I gave him a strange look. He must have noticed because he started to explain how they are made from paper now.

I'm sure we will be planning more DIS Meets after the one in May! Not sure about August, just because that seems kinda close to May. But, we will never stop planning!

The Castle is amazing right now with the Dream Lights. I still haven't seen it yet and I can't wait to see it.

Oh, you will all have plenty to choose from! It is quite a large buffet and it is spread out nicely too. I thought the kid food choices were great!

There are a lot of African inspired dishes, but all the American items too. DH loved all of the meat that he ate and I just loved all the African themed deserts. They were some of the best I've ever had! The passion fruit tart is yummy!

Mom and I may have to try out the new Tusker House place in a few weeks. Looks good!

Awww...thanks! I just had a banana milkshake tonight and two bowls of ice cream! That was my dinner! I'm trying to numb the pain in my mouth and I get to eat sweets at the same time.

Then, I made my way to the third room area, which is past the bedroom. It was decorated like a beautiful study.

I just loved the windows above the couch, especially the one with Jaq & Gus. They were so cute!

There is even a telescope in the wooden box behind the couch that you can actually use if you wanted a better view of the Magic Kingdom.

In the back of the room are the three windows that you can look out of and view the MK! These are on the left tower of the Castle that you can view from below. It was the most amazing view and the stain glass windows were so detailed. I loved how they told the story of Cinderella with Lady Tremaine's home, the invitation to the ball, & then the clock striking midnight.

The round ceiling room in the study room was beautiful and Cinderella's friends were also there!

There is also a second flat screen TV in this room and the ornate frame around it was so pretty!

HAPPY
THANKSGIVING!!!!

This time last year, DH & I were on our way to WDW for a visit staying at All-Star Sports & Port Orleans- FQ for a quickie WDW trip and to look for a house for our move to Florida! I can't believe it has been a year, since we found our home and we've almost been Floridians for a year! I have so much to be thankful for this year!

That's right!
We were at Trail's End last year.

We actually had Thanksgiving at ‘Ohana this year.
I took some pictures of all the food that I will post soon.

Sadly, I couldn't eat as much as I would have liked to because of my mouth, but I got to enjoy all the potatoes, stuffing, and cranberry sauce!

Even the Bathroom is Enchanting!





The last stop on the tour was the most enchanting and Magical bathroom I've ever seen!

The spa tub is to the right as soon as you enter and it was amazing! The ceiling actually had twinkling lights like you were under the night's sky.

There were three mosaics on the walls around the tub and they were just incredible! There is actually a waterfall in the tub and there are lights that also change the color of the water. It was so neat!

The sinks and the mirrors were across from the spa tub and they were just so elegant. They had an antique look to them and I loved how the mirrors were done like windows behind the sinks.

There is also another stain glass window on the wall nest to the sinks. I was just so impressed with each elegant and special touch.

Then, I spotted the shower, which was in the back of the bathroom to the left and it was a stand-up shower completely done in tile. There is not a step or anything; it's just like walking into a closet area.

Between the shower and the separate room for the toilet is a nice vanity for Cinderella to do her make-up and hair, of course. The towels are actually all embroidered with "C" for Cinderella. They were magnificent!

Even the toilet was pretty! It was like a brown marble and this is actually over the toilet. It really is a royal throne!

There is also a phone right next to the toilet in the private bathroom area.

My tour had come to an end and I had to make my way back down the beautiful golden elevator. It was such a great experience being able to actually visit the Cinderella Castle Suite and I am so glad I got to share it with all of you!
