Just out of curiosity...do you know if they decorate the suite for the holidays? Knowing Disney, I'm sure they do. I'd imagine that would make a stay in the suite even more spectacular! Could you imagine winning the castle stay on Christmas Eve and getting to wake up Christmas morning in the Magic Kingdom?! Now THAT would be the night of a lifetime!

You know, I'm not really sure, but I bet they do add a few holiday touches here and there. I couldn't imagine they wouldn't! That would be so amazing to look out of the window and see the MK decorated for Christmas! :santa:

Unlock the Magic

The doors to the million-dollar elevator opened and it was amazing! Even the floor in the elevator was beautiful and the fabric on the walls was simply stunning! :eek:

I knew the next time those doors opened, I would be inside the actual Cinderella Castle Suite! My body was literally shaking with excitement and joy! :banana:

The doors opened and there was a round entrance room before you entered the actual living quarters. It was the most beautiful Cinderella royal blue color and there were murals from "Cinderella" painted on the ceiling. It was just gorgeous! The floor was a mosaic of Cinderella's Coach and I felt like it was just too pretty to walk on. :rotfl:

The first thing I spotted right in front of me was Cinderella's glass slipper! As soon as the elevator doors open, you are viewing a glass cabinet with all of Cinderella's most valuable items, including her tiara. I couldn't believe I was there and I really felt like I was visiting a Princess' home! princess:

I couldn't even leave the small entrance room because I was in such awe of all the detail and amazing artwork covering the walls.

Fireworks & Pixie Dust

I made my way through the archway and I entered the most amazing bedroom suite I had ever seen! It was just stunning! :eek:

The floor actually sparked and it looked like it was always sprinkled with pixie dust. :wizard:

I couldn't believe they actually had real wood up in the suite next to the fireplace that is always "burning." It was just wonderful and then I spotted the fireworks going off in the fireplace! :scared1:

It was just pure enjoyment for me!

I just loved these etched mirrors with the lights on each side of the fireplace. The one on the left was of Cinderella and the one on the right was of Prince Charming. princess:

The most amazing touch to me is the flat screen TV above the fireplace that is actually a portrait of Cinderella when it is not turned on. It is so incredible because it is a real life portrait of Cinderella and what she would have looked like in "real-life" in that time period. I had never seen anything like it! It is so much fun to actually turn the TV on because pixie dust whisks across the screen before the portrait turns into a regular television. :wizard:

The beds are amazing and the linens on them are simply fabulous with all of the gold stitching. The carved hardwood is beautiful and it is all over the suite. I couldn't believe the detail and craftsmanship put into ever part of the suite, including the ceiling!

If you notice that small box on the nightstand, it is actually hiding the alarm clock and all of the phones work in the suite too. I couldn't believe how many phones they had in there! Yes, there was one in the bathroom too!

There was a gorgeous wooden desk next to the beds filled with all of Cinderella's favorite items that she had on display. I just love the bird figurines and the portraits of the kingdom! :goodvibes

Then, there is the stain glass window that overlooks the beds and the sunlight was just streaming through and making the gold fabric on beds shine! :goodvibes

I have to make another interruption during our tour of the Cinderella Castle Suite...

to bring you this...

DH & I ate at the New Tusker House Restaurant today and we were very impressed! :thumbsup2

It reminded me a lot of Boma and all of the food was fantastic! It's set-up like an open air market. I couldn't believe how many different food options they had available on the buffet and they had a large desert area right in the middle. :goodvibes

The entrance is now on the opposite side and they have removed the original Tusker House sign. There is not really a sign for the restaruant now. :confused3
