Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween DIS Party! DISney Princesses Party with Style! *DONE*

I'd normally tell you to introduce yourself to Mr's Ben & Jerry, but I do belive their dreamy concoctions have lots of stuff in them... I always love creamsickles when I don't feel good and also Lemon Italian ice....

I imagine Jax is taking care of his mom?

Oh...I love Lemon Italian Ice! What a great idea! I bought some ice cream today, but that sounds even better. I may have to make another quick trip to the store tomorrow. :goodvibes

Jax has been nuts because I am at home. He is so happy his Mommy is home to play with him. :cat:

Lindsey....

This might cheer you up....

The first You Tube of the castle lights...

Hope you feel better!!! ;)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjIvYFF1fw0

Wow! That is so amazing!
I can't wait to see it in person!
I can only imagine how beautiful it is! :wizard:
I can't believe it took them this long to finally decorate the Castle with lights for Christmas! :santa:

OMGOSH THAT IS SO COOL!!!!! Do you know if they are doing this every night? We got our Mickey Monitor Newsletter and they made it sound like it was only for MVMCP. We're going in December and I would really love to see this! (and like the comments on the video, I too almost started crying when it started to light ;) )

They do the show and lighting every night at 5:45 pm. :thumbsup2
This way everyone can enjoy it.
I have seen the lights are draped over the castle and it does look like a large spider web during the day. :rotfl:

Hey Lindsey! I finally made it to a few of the trip reports from your October meet. I'm not all the way through yours yet, but so far it looks like fun! Now I can't wait for the May Flowers/Birthday Extravaganza!

I just had to tell you, I remember getting an expander when I was young too. I got the Goofy gap teeth for awhile as well. I endured 6 months of that followed by a year in braces. Not fun when you're already an awkward teen, but luckily now I have a good bite and straight teeth. Just wanted to commiserate since I know how you feel and it's not fun. But I'm sure the outcome will be well worth it! Hope you're enjoying lots of ice cream and pudding!

I am so glad you are here! Thanks for joining my Trippie! :yay:
Our May Meet is going to be a blast! I can't wait to see everyone again and meet new DIS'ers too! :grouphug:

I'm not sure how long the expander will be in. The orthodontist is hoping no more than four months, we are really hoping for three. I will most likely have to have surgery because the bone moves when you are a kid. Now, I'm an adult so the bone doesn't move easily, so they have to actually go in there and cut it during surgery. That's my next step. :headache:

OMG total flashback to my childhood. I had to do the expander thing and it is so painful. Here's hoping it is all worth it and you end up with a good result!

I know it'll be worth it because my bite is just awful now and I can't take it anymore! Plus, it's messing-up my teeth, which is not good. I'll have to get those fixed after I am finished with the orthodontist, so this is going to be quite a long process... I am just so ready for it to be over and fixed! :goodvibes

Lindsey...

I know that the mouth problems are a you know what...(I don't want to get tossed for that word...):scared:

BUT...

Just a thought...

My neice got to choose the rubber bands for her braces when she got them...

THINK LIME GREEN!!! (OK... so not on work days, but it's an idea...)

If I could change them everyday myself that would be funny!
Sadly, you can only change them about once a month when you are at your ortho appointment.
I am sticking with clear, especially with work.
I can't even wear a necklace, so I can only imagine what they'd say to lime green teeth! :lmao:

After being busy with my wedding and then my trip to Disney the week of Halloween, I'm finally getting a chance to catch up on your trippie, needed to get caught up before I head down to Disney again for my honeymoon next month! Loved reading about everything and can't wait to see the pictures of the castle suite! Love the pictures of Jax, he's so cute! I used to have a Maine coon cat and he looked so much like Jax!

Congratulations once again! princess:
I am so glad you are visiting my Trippie!

You get to come right back to WDW! How exciting!

I decided that the Grand Finale of my Trip Report will be my visit to the Cinderella Suite! :wizard:

Awwww...thanks! I just love my Jaxie! He is the sweetest and I don't know what I'd do without him! :goodvibes
Do you know how long the lights are going to be on the castle? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll be able to see them! :goodvibes

I think all the Christmas decorations, including the Castle Dream Lights will be up until January 6. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the well wishes! :)

Hello Mr. Twining!

Lesley & I decided we would get some food over in Italy and we each tried the Insalata Caprese and the Lemonata Soda. I just had to top if off with a Cannoli. :thumbsup2

n25002324_33039593_603.jpg

We found an empty bench right in front of Italy near the water. It was a perfect spot to enjoy our food.

n25002324_33039594_837.jpg

We went on our way around the World Showcase to do some shopping. There were a few items that Lesley & Camille wanted to checkout before they left. I remembered that I hadn't tried the tea over in the United Kingdom. There was a nice booth set-up serving Twining's Tea, which is my favorite! We made our way over to The Tea Caddy, where the booth was outside. I really wanted to try the chilled Earl Grey tea. Camille said she was going to go look around in the shop, so Lesley & I stood outside, while I paid for my tea.

Then, Camille stuck her head out the door and said, "I have to get a picture with Stephen Twining in here; we have the same last name." I was a little confused and thought Camille had just randomly met someone with the same last name. The CM with the very nice British accent told me it was actually Stephen Twining in there signing autographs, the owner of Twining's Tea! I couldn’t believe it!

My Mom & I are such fans of Twining's and we collect all the different teas and tea sets. Lesley & I quickly went inside The Tea Caddy and there was Mr. Twining!

n25002324_33039600_2211.jpg

I was pretty excited to meet him and I wanted to purchase some tea for him to autograph for me. I also decided I'd get one for him to sign for my Mom too. It was going to be a nice surprise gift for her when I went home to visit her in Charlotte in a couple of weeks. :thumbsup2

n25002324_33039595_1057.jpg

Stephen Twining was such an English gentleman and he was literally your stereotypical Brit! :goodvibes I couldn't believe how tall he was! He was really nice and personally addressed both of my autographs for my Mom & I. He also asked if I'd like them dated and he had a thinner Sharpie Marker to add the date.

n25002324_33039597_1514.jpg

n25002324_33039598_1749.jpg

We were all thrilled we got to meet him and it was a great moment for us!

n25002324_33039599_1981.jpg

We went to checkout and pay for our tea items, and I saw that someone else had bought a Twining's cup and saucer set to get autographed. That was the perfect idea! Why hadn't I thought of that!? Now, I had to go buy that and have him autograph it too! He was so kind and, of course, he obliged. He sighed the cup and the saucer for me. I now have all my tea items nicely displayed on my Mickey shelf in my kitchen. :goodvibes

n25002324_33039601_2443.jpg

n25002324_33039602_2673.jpg

We left Mr. Twining and walked out the front of The Tea Caddy to continue on our way. We wanted to go grab a spot for Illuminations! :yay: Then, we finally saw the sign outside saying Stephen Twining was there for a visit today! We had made it just in time! :thumbsup2

:cheer2:

I think all the Christmas decorations, including the Castle Dream Lights will be up until January 6. :thumbsup2

Yep, after I saw that video I was determined to find the dates so I did a little browsing and did find that the Castle Dream Lights will be up until the 6th. I was sooooo excited about that...can't wait to see them in person. Less than 50 days now!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

OK, so let's see the Cinderella Suite stuff already!! ;) :)

Aww looks like you guys had such a great time at Epcot! Wish I could of met up with you instead of taking the plane home :(.

That picture of you Camille, and Lesley is wicked cute.

Hope your feeling alright after your appt and expander. :goodvibes

How cool you got to meet Mr Twinning....I love your autographed tea treats.

I am finally caught up on your trippie. It is hard to stay caught up on your favorite ones while writing your own.

Looks like you had a great time with your fellow Disers.

 to you for all your teeth/mouth issues. I am sure all the extra time cuddling with Jax will help some.

Can't wait to see the castle suite pictures.

I wish you could have been there too! The more DIS'ers the better, that's what I always say! :goodvibes

I'm feeling okay now. I was in a lot of pain this morning after I cranked it. Uggghhh...no fun! It felt like my front teeth were ripping apart. :scared:

It was so neat to meet Mr. Twining and he was such a sweet guy! :)

I know how you feel, I had so many Trip Reports to read after our DIS Meet and I had to write my own. It's not easy to do! :rotfl:

Thanks for the hug!
I have really enjoyed being home and spending time with Jax. He has been a big help to me. :goodvibes

I've been getting a lot done around the house too, which is a big plus! :laundy:

The DIS Weekend Comes to an Illuminating End

Lesley aka momshark, Camille, & I found a perfect spot to watch Illuminations and Lesley & I were excited for Camille to see it for the first time!

n25002324_33039607_3853.jpg

n25002324_33039608_4083.jpg

Illuminations is such a beautiful fireworks display and show. The music is simply amazing and so moving. My favorite part is when all the white lights begin to light up on each of the countries. It's such a sight to see! :goodvibes

n25002324_33039610_4538.jpg

n25002324_33039611_4770.jpg

It was sad when Illuminations ended because that meant I had to say good-bye to Lesley & Camille. They were on their way to Jelly Rolls and asked if I'd like to go, but I knew I had to get home. I had to get up early the next morning for work. :sad2: I gave them each a hug good-bye and I knew my fun DIS weekend had come to an end. :sad1:

I made the long walk back to the entrance of Epcot with the rest of the thousands of people and thought about the great weekend! I couldn't have imagined it being any more fun! :yay: I met so many wonderful DIS'ers and have made some great new friends! :grouphug:

 Cheers to the best DIS Weekend Ever!

The End!

But, wait...

There is still the Grand Finale is Next....

Come visit the Cinderella Castle Suite with me!!! princess:

Aw that was such an awesome Dis weekend!

Very cool for you to be there when Camille saw Illuminations for the first time. Hope she liked it. :goodvibes

Hope you are treating yourself to some nice ice cream after cranking that thing. I don't think I could do that, I don't do well with pain. Hope the pain subsides soon for ya.

Can't wait to see the suite and read all about it!

Great ending to a great report! I love Illuminations too. I can't wait to see the version with the special holiday ending this year. That will be a first for me.

So neat that you got to meet Mr. Twining! I have a box of his blackcurrant tea sitting on my desk at work, which I highly recommend. I'm not a fan of fruity teas because they can sometimes be WAY too sweet, but this stuff tastes like the most delicious tea with just a hint of mellow berry flavor in the background. Yum!

What a fabulous report and what timing being in the right place at the right time to meet Mr. Twining!

Can't wait to see your pics from Cinderella's Suite!

It's a good thing we're planning another meet, because your trippie coming to an end is making me sad!

Lindsey...

What's your favorite tea from Twinings? Tea is one of my favorites :goodvibes - we ALWAYS fit in Afternoon Tea at the GF.... I just like to try new things too...

I think we've gotten Camille hooked on Disney! ;)

Luckily, I do well with pain. I don't like it, but it doesn't bother me too bad. I've been enjoying my vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup.

It's so sad that the DIS Meet Trippie is over! :sad2:

I didn't know about the special holiday ending for Illuminations! How exciting! :woohoo:

It was so great meeting Mr. Twining and I have so many tins of tea all around my kitchen. I love to use them for decoration.

I have all the Disney tea tins and those are my favorite!

What a fabulous report and what timing being in the right place at the right time to meet Mr. Twining!

Awwww...thanks! :goodvibes

I know, it worked out so perfectly for us to meet Mr. Twining! What luck! :)
What a great ending to your weekend of Dis meets.

I can't wait for your Castle pictures!

It was a great way to end it, but so sad to know it was all over and it's even sadder knowing the Trippie is coming to an end. :sad2:

I'm posting the Castle pics soon!!

It's a good thing we're planning another meet, because your trippie coming to an end is making me sad!

My thoughts exactly!!!

It's making my so sad knowing this entire DIS Meet has come to an end. I remember talking about writing the Trippie and now it's all done.

Now, it's time to plan the next meet! :woohoo:

Lindsey...

What's your favorite tea from Twinings? Tea is one of my favorites :goodvibes - we ALWAYS fit in Afternoon Tea at the GF.... I just like to try new things too...

Oh, my fav place is the Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Lounge! Love it! :goodvibes My Mom & I have gone there twice and we are obsessed with it!

I'd have to say my favorite is Earl Grey! :thumbsup2

Welcome to the...
Cinderella Castle Suite!

I never imagined I would ever have the chance to actually step foot inside of the amazing Cinderella Castle Suite! princess: I could not believe that one of my Year of a Million Dreams was actually coming true! :wizard: I was going to the Cinderella Castle Suite!

I was literally on Cloud 9 when I made the trip over to the Magic Kingdom and knew I'd be riding the secret elevator up to the suite. :cloud9: It was so amazing because when the elevator doors opened, guess who walked out!? Cinderella! I couldn't believe it!

It was like she left her royal suite, so I could have my own private visit. I had butterflies in my stomach because I was so excited! It just made it even more wonderful knowing this originally was going to be Walt Disney's own apartment. It's so sad knowing he never was able to see that dream, so I am so glad that they finally made it into such a Magical place! :wizard:

We exited the elevator and it brought us to the lobby for the Cinderella Suite! Yes, it has it's own lobby and registration room! It was so beautiful!

n25002324_33122169_2531.jpg

I quickly spotted a clock over in the corner and it was about to strike midnight! It always stays at that time and I thought that was such a wonderful touch! :goodvibes

n25002324_33122170_2854.jpg

The details were just amazing! There were carvings all in the stone and all of the tapestries hanging from the walls were handmade. It was just so gorgeous! You can spot Cinderella's friends all over the place! ;)

n25002324_33122171_3133.jpg

n25002324_33122178_5160.jpg

n25002324_33122174_4013.jpg

I had to figure out exactly where I was in Cinderella Castle and I saw a large brown door, so I opened it up. It actually opens to the walkway through the Castle, opposite the side if the Cinderella mosaics. I couldn't believe how many times I had walked past that door and didn't realize what was right behind it! :scared1:

n25002324_33122177_4880.jpg

We got in position by the elevator because it was making it's way down from the suite to pick-us up! I couldn't wait for those elevator doors to open! :woohoo:

n25002324_33122173_3720.jpg

The Magic continues...:wizard:

Ohhh I'm so excited. The "lobby" is beauitful so I'm even more excited to see the actual suite.

It must of been so magical to been in there. And to know that it was Walt's apartment must of been an amazing feeling.

Can't wait for more.

Nice! It looks like a truly magical place! Can't wait to see the rest.

Just out of curiosity...do you know if they decorate the suite for the holidays? Knowing Disney, I'm sure they do. I'd imagine that would make a stay in the suite even more spectacular! :santa: Could you imagine winning the castle stay on Christmas Eve and getting to wake up Christmas morning in the Magic Kingdom?! Now THAT would be the night of a lifetime!

First off, your DIS-meet TR was wonderful! :thumbsup2

I can't wait for more on the Cinderella Suite! The details are amazing in the lobby! I love that the clock is about to strike midnight...what a great touch! :goodvibes
