Hello All!
hubby and I just booked on 8/15 - Disney offered a pretty awesome military discount

so we moved our hopes for DVC member cruise in 2010 to this one ~
This is our first cruise, and I'll have celebrated my 40th birthay on 12/11, + it's Christmas, so I'm having a blast playing with the crusie magnets and 3 themes; now that Carol G has directed me to here I'd say 4 themes
Shadowryter - thank you so much for all your work! Simply Wonderful
I'm up for trying to meet with people, but I'll pass on the FE.... this time. Thing is-I get seasick on big boats/ships, ferrys and larger. Not small ones; put me in a small fishing boat, max out speed, bumping all over the place - I'm fine. Put me on a big ferry where it doesn't look rocky at all and I get sick. (yep - weird) err anyway - if I don't get my sea legs, my hubby would not appreciate having to go deliver stuff

so we'd best bow out of that for now. As I told Carol G previously, I hate to promise something and then not deliver on it
My motion sickness options:
* Dramamine - both versions knock me out for close to a full day
* Bromamine(? or something close to it)... makes me sicker than the ship or plane does.
* Patch - gives me a hideous rash.
I'm going to try Ginger and Sea Bands and see how they do but I'm preparing for the worst just in case~ <cough> this trip is basically an experimentation to see if I get over it/get sea legs etc. Good news for me is ginger ale usually works for common cold nausea so I'm hopeful.
If there are any other anti nausea options out there I'm All Ears
Any other military folk out there? Hubby would be reassured
We're driving down, planning to stay at the Raddisson and use their shuttle. Debating swinging thru Orlando and grabbing our OL. hmm would OL be carry on or checked?
Thanks again Carol G for pointing me this way! I look forward to seeing peeps in Dec~
Michelle
