So I found out Friday, we are booked for this cruise. I turn 40 on December 16th and have always said that I will be on a Disney cruise and staying in a suite. After 7 disney cruises and never a suite, I figured the b-day would be a good excuse. So Bill booked it for us and DS(11). It's a cat 3 but hey I am finally in a suite, right. Still trying to decide Disney World before of after. Was wondering if it would save money to change it to a land sea? It's looking like a great year.

Hi there Tde1969, Summer is passing by so fast and Sept is right around the corner, just about that time to start making ressies for excursions and filling out paperwork online for the cruise.

Wanted to know if you were going to participate in the FE list. If so, please contact me with your suite # you've already given the rest of the info.

My DD is loving making door magnets for our "MMC"

I've told her she had got to stop making them for our cabin door as it's going to fall of it's hinges with all of the weight as she's made so many of them

Just wondered if anyone would like one doing for there door?

Can't believe at 12yr old knows more about PC's than I do because I havn't got a clue how she does them

Glad to hear you're joining us. We're figuring it out now...contacting those that haven't let us know etc. As of now the count is 45, not including everyone. We still have several to contact. If you or anyone else has ideas we would appreciate them.

Since there are several large groups I'm thinking about making two lists. Much easier on everyone...especially those traveling by air (Weight charge)

Paula is taking care of the list for large groups and
Kathryn for small groups.
I'm contacting those that haven't stated if they're participating and answering any questions... : First time making this list and already I'm a pro. what a joke ! ! !

When you say 45 people, that is individuals and not families right? That would be a whole lotta trinkets if you do one for each individual person. Is that what you do? I have a feeling this roll call will explode at about 60 days out from what I have seen on other roll calls and that number is going to get huge .

Is anyone here an experienced FE'er? How does this work?

Hi Paula - I would love a couple my kids will think that is so cool. I would let my daughter help me but The fact that I am totally suprising them with the whole trip makes it a little difficult. Katie

Hi all! I'm looking forward to joining you in December along with DH, DS (9), and DD (4). This will be our first cruise...so I'm very excited.

I've been reading up on this FE thing and it looks like the way to do it is to only give one gift per family (cabin) and in turn each family gives one gift to other families participating...otherwise if you have people receiving gifts according to the number of individuals, then each individual in turn would have to give out gifts as well...take me for instance with a family of four...I'd have to give four separate gifts to every other individual participating (one from each of my family members)...which would add up to way too many gifts to give/receive. Not sure if that made sense or not, but hopefully you get the point

An exception to the one gift per cabin would be if friends or family members that don't live together are staying in the same cabin...in that case, each friend/family member would participate so they would have their own gifts to take back home.

I hope some of that made sense...I've also signed up for the Podcast 2.0 cruise, so I've been doing a lot of research lately and this is what I've seen suggested from some of the FE "experts".

Each person has a pocket on the FE therefore the pockets should be filled by others. I'm breaking the list into groups therefore everyone will be able to fill everyones pocket on the FE.

When I first joined MMC and heard about the FE, I started getting gifts, not knowing anything about it. I made sure I had gifts for the men, women and children that were already on the list for everyday of the cruise. Just goes to show you what I know. But I do believe everyone should have something in their FE pocket if they are in your group.

I'll be receiving more info about FE and fill you in.

Carol asked me to stop by wow this thread has grown how awesome. Im so excited for you guys!!! i wish i didnt have to cancel however i have finals that week. You guys are gonna have a blast and the ship is awesome all decorated for the holidays ive sailed two christmas cruises they are the best!!!!.

The FEs are very easy carol offered to take over and of course ill help her. since it seems like there is gonna be alot of you why dont you guys just do a room gift? pehaps a baggie full of neon braclets for the pirate party just a suggestion (thats what i did on the last cruise)

Whoever wants to do the FE PM carol. You need your room number or let her know you are GTY and how many in the room. when she has the complete list she will email it to everyone so you can run around the ship and place your little gifts carol has my personal email she can feel free to share it she also has my phone # so if anyone has questions i will be more than happy to help you guys.
I know one of you guys pbj17 (i think) sorry i didnt get back to you right away it came up as a notification instead of a PM and it didnt email me I did send you back a response dont know if you got it.
