I had a change in plans this summer (no adult trip to Vegas :guilty: ) and am thinking of using the airline tix on a quick hit to Disney. Thinking of going to Disney on Columbus Day Weekend and taking the kids to Mickeys Halloween Party. Don't know much about it, but if anyone can give some insight as to how the crowds would be on this weekend for this event, or crowds in general for the parks would be most appreciative. Any tips or advice would be welcome. Kids would be 10 and 9...not too old for this event??

Thanks in advance.

Here's a link to last years info thread on MNSSHP : http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=809958

Comubus Day weekend is sorta of crowded...not like summer crowds, still managale IMHO.

My son will be 13 this next MNSSHP and he's looking forward to it! He's been going since he was 2 so it's tradition for us! I think your kids will have a great time especially if they like to trick or treat.DSErich came home with 5 lbs of candy!!! :earseek:

Thank you Baloo for a great response. Wonderful info on the link you provided. I think I'm sold (as if it takes much convincing for a Disney trip). We are heading down this June and the crowds will be larger than we are used to (previous trips in May), so going in October with lighter crowds will definitely be a plus.

Thanks again for the wonderful info and if anyone else has anything else to add...I would love to hear from you. :lmao:

Hi! I booked a trip to go to Disney during the MNSSHP for the first time and I've found the reviews at this link to particularly enlightening!

HTH!

It will be just me and my hubby...no children. I know people do this, but do you trick or treat as well? If we get to go, it will be on October 30th. Any thoughts on the crowd for this night? Should we expect long waits for rides? I have never been to any of the "parties" and I am not convinced that it would be money well spent. Anyone care to try and convince me? Then, maybe I can try to convince my hubby it is worth the extra $80+.
Thanks for any thoughts you offer. Have a wonderful day.

Ztam although we have never been that late from what I've read on the matter the closer to Halloween proper the busier it is! I do know that for the 30th you would have to book in advance as they sell out quick! As for Trick or treat don't worry there will be plenty more adults queueing up as well!
HTh SD :firefight
