Has anyone been to Mickey's Backyard BBQ? What did you think of it?

We went and had fun, but my kids were just on the cusp on being too old for it (9 and 11). I think it is best for kids 2-7 or 8.

We didn’t enjoy it at all. We went when our kids were 9 & 6. The food wasn’t great. Maybe we hit it on an off night.

Typical Disney. Ribs, chicken, burgers, macncheese. But the Sangria and beer just keep glowing.

We had a fun time. Our kids were 1, 3, and 4 at the time and liked getting to dance with the characters. We had a nice photo with Mickey and Minnie after the bbq. The food was good but not outstanding. We also had fun on the boat ride back from Fort Wilderness in the dark.

That being said, we would mildly recommend it but feel that once is enough. If your kids don't get into the dancing, it would defeat most of the purpose IMO.

Hello Amy,
While traveling north fort wilderness every year on a family vacation, I make a point to stop at Mickey's backyard bbquing once in a while. The ribs that are grilled on the gas grills were lovely. During a pandemic, they take precautions and act accordingly.
