I do remember seeing a Mickey Mouse Waffle Maker, and also I believe a Disney Princess toaster. However, this was a while ago.
I think it may have been a walmart, zellers, or a Toys R us.
If I do re call exactly where I seen them, I will definately post it or you.
Check Ebay, I know that I have seen them on there quite a bit. Even if the seller doesn't say that they will ship to the country you live in, ask them anyway. On my auctions I only list that I will ship to the US, but everytime someone asks from somewhere else I will always do it as long as they are willing to pay the shipping!
We didn't see the toasters but I also wasn't looking for them LOL we have both teh toaster and waffle maker and yes liquidation world is out by teh 401 and they have one in Oxbury Mall.
check under toys click search for mickey (toronto)
new asking $30
I had one earlier this year and didn't like how the waffles turned out, my dd really didn't enjoy them. Not light and fluffy like disney's. I tried 3 different recipes then sold the waffle maker on craigslist.
Mary Liz,
I got the cinderella toaster in Walmart in Feb for $14.98 as well as the cinderella waffle maker for $14.98. The toaster imprints a glass slipper on the bread...DS isn't too thrilled about that. It also place the Waltz when to toast pops up.
I told DH I was heading to Liquidation World to look for a toaster ... he says "do NOT buy a Disney toaster" ... but I don't think it's for Mother's Day because I saw a box in the garage, and definitely doesn't look like a toaster. Maybe DH already did some early Christmas shopping ... finally, 13 years of marriage and I've worn off on him.
Thanks for the info, Kathy ... my DS wouldn't be overly thrilled by the slipper either, but then again, who would care ... it would be MY toaster. LOL
Thanks everyone! There is a liquidation world in Bolton (the closest for me) so I think I'll head there this coming week b/c you can't beat $9.00. But I didn't like to hear the comment that they don't make fluffy waffles! Anyone else have the same problem? Should I just buy a regular waffle maker? But the Mickey shape is sooo cute!
Just bought the Mickey Waffle Maker at the Bolton store.........yippie!
They also had the Winnie The Pooh waffle maker and I almost bought both but didin't!
So now I just need a good waffle recipe........anyone have one! LOL
YIPPIE
I made my Mickey waffles today for breakfast with fruit (starwberries, blackberries and blueberries), whip cream and syrup and they were so delicious and fluffy. DD was soo excited when she saw her plate and ofcourse asked, "Are we going to Disney again", "Now!".
Thanks everyone that helped me find it!
I have a whole bunch of them which I am selling on Ebay right now. I also offer free pick up if interested you can PM me. I will sell to disboarders cheaper than Ebay....I live in Mississauga.
