I remember seeing something about these punchs in a thread way back when but I don't remember what it was about. I should have listened!!

I bought one last week at My Scrapbook store in VA. (remember I'm stuck 30 min away over the river in Md) Anyway get it home and it jams. I bang, hammer etc.. too it and it gets unstuck only to jam again with wax paper inside! So off I go yesterday with sleeping child in rush hour traffic to return it and they are sold out and they said "oh everyone has returned these and I don't think we will re order them" UGH! I want that cute punch!

Did anyone have luck with it. Where else can I get one besides on line. (I have an anal DH that does not do credit cards over internet:crazy: ).

I've heard that if you try using wax paper it'll help loosen things up - not sure if it'll work, but I guess it doesn't hurt to try.

Hope this helps!

Mine does the SAME thing, I thought I got a reject!!?? I just slip my tweezers into the side and twist gently, although sometimes it makes a mark on my paper. I wonder why this one jams?!?

mine jams occasionally also
but sometimes it works....I also use wax paper
It's irritating!

I bought the small swirl punch and the medium swirl punch because I read that the Mickey one didn't work very well. I bought them at Michael's with 40% coupons and mine don't stick at all. Hope this helps you.

Julianne, if you will pm me your address I will send you one. I have an extra one. I know people don't like to send their address out to just anyone and I completely understand. There are several people that will let you know it's OK to give me your address. If you decide you want me to send it to you just let me know!

You are the best! What a wonderful offer. I sent you a pm. Please let me know the cost as well as postage!

I was just going to post a new thread about my Mickey Head punch and I saw this one. I am not having technical problems with mine, but I am having user problems! Let me explain.

I have the solid Mickey Head punch from Michael's (the small one). I was so excited to get it home, and as I'm punching I realize that this punch has a back to it, and therefore you can only punch the bottom corners of photos. In other words, the Mickey head only works from the bottom of photos. The only way to punch the top corners of photos is to have Mickey's head upside down! Can any of you please explain to me what you use this punch for? I guess I can punch the bottom corners of my papers, but I really wanted to use it for photos. I am new to scrapbooking, and so perhaps I just need a few ideas to help me out.

Thanks, Tiger:confused:

If I am not mistaken, most people use their punches with card stock and use the pieces to decorate their scrapbook pages. At least that is how I use mine. I never thought to use then on my pictures but making a Mickey border or Mickey corners would be a cool idea.

Tiger- How about using the punch to cut your cardstock - then you can position the punched shape however you want on your page or your picture.... If you want it to look like you punched the pitcure just use the same color (or pattern) as you are using for the background- that will give the same effect..

Hope that helps!
