Mickey Pancakes?

My nephew says he needs "mickey pancakes" waffles he has had, wants pancankes? Official ones, not me arranging on plate. Any ideas? Thanks, Mky

Kona has Mickey pancakes on the child's menu. DS2 always orders them. If you are staying at the Polynesian, you can also get them from room service.

I had the idea you were trying to make them, not order them. Just drop enough batter in the pan for a medium sized pancake. Then drop smaller amounts just above the first pancake for the "ears". They all sort of run into each other into a single mickey-shaped pancake. You might want to start out small. They're a little tricky to flip.

no not making, but thanks for the tip. I tried the engineered type too when they weren't on the menu but they weren't official so he wants official? thanks for the help

My kids saw a TV show on before we went 2 years ago on the Food Network called "Unwrapped" and it was soley devoted to Disney foods. The restaurant they featured was "Chief Mickey's" and it showed them making mickey head pancakes. My kids were hooked. We had ate there and they LOVED THEM!!!! Good luck!

I saw the same unwrapped episode recently and it shows that they just make them the way nocnurse said above, there's no machine other than a batter dispenser. Of course a kid won't be impressed by this. "It's not the same!"

Boatwright's at POR had Mickey pancakes on the kids menu. DD's got them and they had orange slices for the mouth and M&M's for the eyes. They were cute and yummy too. They ate them up.
