Mickey Mouse here we come. The Porters PTR-TR *DAY 5 in progress pg 27*

I'm SO sorry guys!

I will be CERTAIN to do day 3 tomorrow. We left for Minnesota 8/26 and didn't return until 8/31, so I was packing up for that and everything. MAN I'm so tired. Then today was the first day of school, so busy busy busy I've been, but all has calmed down a bit, so I can finish.

I must confes I'm going through MAJOR withdrawals myself. I want to go back to Mickeys house :(

Look out for day 3 tomorrow....I promise :thumbsup2 I am now working more partime than before ( 3 days a week :) ) so I have more time.

I knew that you were going to MN, and kept thinking that in all my lucid (non-ambien) moments, then I would get online while I was not so lucid, and think...Where's Tosha!?!?! Glad you're all back safe and sound and that the kiddos are all back into school. And hip hip hooray for being only 3x's a week!

Well welcome home, and we cant wait to hear more!! Hope you had a good time in MN, even though it cant compare to WDW!!

I am glad that you had a great safe trip. It is always nice to get out of town from the normal day to day before the hussle and bussle of school begins.

Update us on how their first day went :o)

Hello hello Tosha! Katie here from the "fridge swap" I finally found your TR! I just started reading but wanted to say hello & tell you that your kids are just adorable! And i love your siggy pic - too cute! bless you, for taking care of 5 little ones! I'm sure you're one heck of a super-mom!

Anyways, can't wait to read up about your trip. I hope you all had a fantastic first trip full of magical memories!

Guys I will reply to everyones posts in a bit....I need to get started on....

DAY 3:cool1: :cool1:

Today we head beack to Magic Kingdom! BOY was it a busy day today....as we got ALOT done today:yay: We let the kids take the lead today, and those jokers had SO much energy...they wore us OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008002.jpg

First stop was Haunted Mansion! We were actually going to get fast passes,as we arrived at noon that day. Well imagine our delight when we saw this :woohoo:
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008003.jpg

So of course we stood in line and the kids were terrified of this chick....:rotfl2:
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008010.jpg

Of course...us in line
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008004.jpg

Let me tell you we all loved Haunted Mansion! My 13 year olds exact quote was " That was the BOMB" :lmao:

The next thing on their agenda was Thunder Mountain Railroad. On the way there my little Kenny was so in awe of this show
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008018.jpg
He screamed WOODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was SO precious to see his face light up the way it did. I had to fight back tears at that point:goodvibes

We finally arrive at Thunder Montain where Khyri and I stood in line with the crew as long as we could before staff gave us the boot :( But here's the shot of them in line
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008019.jpg

And OH MY!!!! Dh took this video while on the ride, and it's so funny! I laughed my head off hearing them..that's Janiya with the ear peircing screams and dh with his " Oh snap"...enjoy

SO while dh and the kids were on, Khyri and I waited and played on this little playlot on the side of the ride. It right by where you get fast passes and rider swap tickets. He had fun
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008024.jpg

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008022.jpg

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008029.jpg

After the crew got off, I then swapped and went on.....we loved it...though you could never tell by my screams ( and NO I don't have video :rotfl: )

Next stop was
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008030.jpg

The kids really enjoyed this one...I not so much. It scared the poo out of me when we went down....yeah Im a big fat chicken and I felt like we were gonna flip:confused3

Now the next stop was MY pick, and this is something we just HAD to have....in my book! There was NO stopping until we got it! The kids said " Oh, mom, you said today was OUR day" but I assured them they won't be disappointed... at least per DISers:thumbsup2 SO we head to

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008034.jpg

Where I go on my mission to find this certain something! Along they way the kids couldn't resist this, and since it IS their day to pick everything we do, I had to stop , although I was YEARNING for my little treasure, so being unselfish, we stop here first
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008075.jpg

But not without a pose with my hunny
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008076.jpg

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008079.jpg

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008080.jpg

That was fun. The baby boys really enjoyed Alladins Magic Carpet ride :woohoo:

So then I told them ( selfishly may I add:laughing: ) It's MY turn! I have to have a certain something. Finally we found it........

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008083.jpg

Yum yummmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!

And BTW guys....that's a Pineapple Float....not a Dole whip! I asked for a Dole whip and got that little cup thingy. I said NO I want the thingy with the juice at the bottom. MAN that was good!!!!

Now all refreshed, the kids wanted to do the treehouse:rolleyes: I told them " Guys I don't think that's fun" But they gave me " The look".... that's all it took! That look said " Geez, are we gonna be able to pick on OUR day or what?" So off we went

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008089.jpg

As you can see, they loved it:eek: It was pretty boring to me, but THEY loved it and that is what matter!

By now, we were hungry! We did just have the floats and whips, but we now needed FOOD! We decided to do Tacos and Taco salads here
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008037.jpg

The hungry crew
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008038.jpg

Dh loved the food here...can you tell?
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008039.jpg

After our bellies were full, we headedright across the restaraunt to Pirates of The Carribean
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008040.jpg

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008042.jpg

We enjoyed this. Especially DJ...he LOVED it! " A pirates life for me" was SO stuck in my head!

As we exited, to the kids delight, Captain Hook and the big nosed guy ( I do NOT know his name :rotfl: ) were outside fighting with each other. They wanted to go see, and the two waved for the kids to come over, so they did. They enjoyed shaking hands and taking pics by them :)

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008068.jpg

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008070.jpg

We were FINALLY able to get a group shot :)
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008071.jpg

Khyri wanted to go on this next, so his wish was our command!
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008129.jpg

The kids loved it and even rode twice.

NExt was Dominiques pick...which I was elated to do because I heard so much about it. It's a small world!!
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008126.jpg

Oh this was the sweetest thing I ever laid eyes on. I fell completely in love with this. SOOOOOOO cute.

Even after this ride " A Pirates life for me" was still stuck on my brain:lmao:

We headed on over to Stitches Great Escape...where I was too curious to skip. The kids actually found this amusing, I found it gross....not because of the smell ( which surprisingly didn't bother me much) but because all the fake burping Stitch did. What a way to make a kid develop bad habits!

Off To Mickeys Philarmagic we go next ( Janiyas pick) We get there and people were shoving to get in...Uhhhhh NOT that serious to us. We stepped back and waited. We reallllllly liked this. The smaller three kids were THRILLED!!!

It was then time for Dinner. Tonight's dinner was at Liberty Tree Tavern. The food was Yummmmmmmmmmmmy there. The kids really enjoyed interacting with the characters. It was not crowded when we went, so we had LOTS of Character interaction....so much so that we stayed here TWO HOURS!!! The kids couldn't get enough.

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008143.jpg

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008153.jpg

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008155.jpg

Then there's Dale! Dlae LOVED Janiyas hair. He kept touching it and smacking her braids to make the barrets go " clink clink". Frankly she was VERY annoyed by Dale and yelled out STOP IT to him :rotfl2:

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008147.jpg

Dale also loved DJs hat! He kept asking DJ if he could have it and kept trying to take it from DJ when he told him no
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008150.jpg

Dale and the crew
DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008149.jpg

After dinner we were in for a treat! As we walked out of Liberty Tree Tavern, Spectro was in progress. BOY what a treat that was...we were RIGHT there! We were so busy oooooohing and aaaaaaaahing, we didn't get any pics, but dh did record it on the camcorder. It was SO beautiful. Cinderella was my favorite. It took my breath away:love:

We decided to do one more thing, and that was Snow Whites Not so scary adventure

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008130.jpg

Oh MAN did they love this. They wanted to ride again, but couldn't because the line was long.

By then it was time for wishes. We will skip this next time. I think we were too close, but BOY was it loud. We didn't enjoy it because it was LOUD. My poor Lil Khyri....he was so afraid that he was shaking :(

The kids were still SO full of life begging to do more, but mom and dad couldn't take it. We were POOPED to say the least! We then head to the bus stop. As we were walking to leave out, this sight was amazing....no owrds for it....WOW:cloud9:

DisneyWorldDay38-13-2008208.jpg

When we arrived at the resort, I was so tired that I slept with my clothes on. Dh said he tried to wake me but I was OUT of it:rotfl2: Day 3 was VERY eventful and I was more tired that day than I have ever been thus far in life......but it was all sooooo worth it for my babies :cloud9: :lovestruc :cutie:

I LOVED this last installment. I have so much to say, so I'll probably quote you and post again later . . .

First I wanna know if you did the girls' hair. I LOVE the zig-zag cornrows! How long does it take? Does she sit still?

I'll be back . . .

You guys are good people!:goodvibes

Thank you Alysa!

I'm glad you liked it Glenda! Heck it took forever for me to decide which ones to use. I have 209 of day 3 alone. We did SO much that day.....luckily lines we not too long.

No I didn't do their hair this time. My best friends cousin did. She is really awesome at braiding hair. I think she is wasting her talent because I think she should be in a shop braiding, but she doesn't want to. And she only charges $15 per head....but I always give her more plus tip.

And yes my girls sit still. They have had alot of hair for a long time now and they are quite used to getting it combed because I'm VERY anal and when they don't have braids, it is combed EVERY single day....which my friends with girls make fun of me because they do their kids hair to last a week....UH UH! That's a no no around here. Ponytails and stuff needs to be fresh around here

She took an old cell phone (it wasnt functional) to school knowing that was not allowed. The teacher (well not the teacher, an assistant... She has 7 teachers) wrote a note on a post-it that said..."Do Not bring to school Again" Dh and I are wondering who they were talking to ((lol)) :rotfl2:

When I asked her why she did it, she said, "Because you never told me I couldnt". I appreciate the honesty but WOW what resoning skills :thumbsup2 . I told her that she knew better, and I better not get any more notes from the teachers about her bringing other items to school.

Again that is a 6 year old for you.

UH oh....Kelsey is clever! :rotfl2: You know, Im so silly I would have had a HARD time keeping a straight face when she said that. SO true though.

So have you downloaded all of the pictures?

Yes I did! They are all in the computer, yet not even half is in photobucket. NO WAY.....photobucket is too much drama for me :(

Here's the start http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=27158341#post27158341 Woohooooooooooo!

I can't wait to see day 3!

GREAT start Lisa! I can't wait to see the pics. You are SO sweet and SOOOOOOO lucky! Sweet for going along and being their tour guide and for all the help you give and are WILLING to give to rookie Disney familes and lucky to be able to go so much!!!!

Tosha-- come back and finish up!! We are having disney withdrawals over here and you have to help!!

:rotfl2: I hope I helped your withdrawals a bit now!:thumbsup2 :cool1:

I knew that you were going to MN, and kept thinking that in all my lucid (non-ambien) moments, then I would get online while I was not so lucid, and think...Where's Tosha!?!?! Glad you're all back safe and sound and that the kiddos are all back into school. And hip hip hooray for being only 3x's a week!

Thank you! I feel better now that I'm home more.Going from stay at home mom to working wasn't easy for me because though I had rough days and I WANTED to go back to work, the family needs me home more :)

Well welcome home, and we cant wait to hear more!! Hope you had a good time in MN, even though it cant compare to WDW!!

Thank you!

Actually we went to Valley Fair and it was pretty cool. It was FULL of thrill rides. Oh my....I need to upload some of THOSE pics. I got some reallllly good ones. The kids had a BALL!

I am glad that you had a great safe trip. It is always nice to get out of town from the normal day to day before the hussle and bussle of school begins.

Update us on how their first day went :o)

The first day was great! Everyone was looking forward to going, so that was nice. Kendyls first day of Kindy went very well. He loves his teacher already.n Janiyas first day of first grade went well too. She has friends already and loving it. DJ and Dominique are returning to this school from last year, so it's all familiar to them. They did enjoy seeing friends again :)

Hello hello Tosha! Katie here from the "fridge swap" I finally found your TR! I just started reading but wanted to say hello & tell you that your kids are just adorable! HI KATIE!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys I spoke with Katie over the phone and she has the SWEETEST little voice I tell you :)

That fridge swap was a doozie and I will NEVER put myself in that situation EVER again. I commented a couple times in that thread last night. It's just really bothering me that when it happened to ME, it was like " too bad, so sad" but now that even the coordinator got stiffed ( ALL because of the one lady before me, now the fridge is missing) now they are making a big deal out of it. I was told it was a risk. Wellllll now isn't it the same risk for the coordinator as it was for me??!?!?

I am just sorry you had to endure that frustration....but I am SO happy you have joined me. SO are you going to do a TR? PLEASE do :) :woohoo:

LOVE the video! Too funny!

I am glad you loved it. Dh looked at it last night and told me " you better not be putting that on your www sites"

Well now! WHY would he say such a thing?!?!?!? DO I look like the type who would put videos of my screaming husband online?!?!? HOW DARE HE!!!! :rolleyes1

I'm glad you give her more than that! She did a GREAT job!

My Mother was the same with my hair. She said that her friends always marveled at how she did EVERYDAY! I thought everyone did that - I guess not!

Hope you have a great day! :goodvibes

Yea!!!! Another update. My mother did our hair (I have a sister) every day also unless it was braided.

I am getting excited:cool1: I will be on a plane heading to Disney this time tomorrow.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one to comb hair everyday :)

Lan NO FAIR you leave tomorrow! Just kidding have a nice time and yes I will be looking for pics :thumbsup2
