Mickey/Minnie campout

Hi,
I'm a newbie to these boards and just discovered this one. It's the coolest thing EVER!
My family and another family will be taking our camp trailers and staying at the Anaheim RV Resort in a couple of weeks and going to Disneyland. We are just telling the four kids in the group that we're going camping.
Anyway, I would love to get shirts for them with some kind of Mickey and friends campout picture with the words Best Camping Trip EVER 2009
We have 2 boys ages 4 and 8 and 2 girls ages 4 and 6 going on the trip.
Any ideas?

DARLING!!!! I love them all. How have I made it through life this long without this board?
Ok, I'll go back and re-read the directions so I can see what to do next.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can't WAIT to get pics of the kids in them. Giving them the shirts is going to have to be the way we tell them. HOORAY! I want to go now!

So I went back and read the directions and it seems pretty easy. I've done iron on transfers before, so I think I can handle that.
But now I'm worried that I did the design request wrong.
Am I supposed to just PM a certain designer and ask him/her to create a design for me? How do I know who to ask?
Sorry if I did it wrong. I was just super excited to find this board. And I know I'll be back so I want to know the right way to do things.

YOu did it fine! If you know a designer does a certain type of design you can PM them but now you have your own thread!

One thing wrong that neebies sometimes do is ask for a request in a thread that has nothing to do with them or with the design they want.

Starting a new thread for a request, as you did, moves it to the top of the list and quickly grabs attention. And your enthusiasm makes designers want to create things for you!!

Ok, so I'm going to try to make the shirts tonight after the kids go to bed. I couldn't find white long sleeve shirts, so I think I'm going to use black. I bought iron on transfers for dark shirts. Will these designs work on dark shirts as well?

Mine has a border so it will be just fine and the other has a colored background so it looks like your all set! Good Luck!
