Mickey, Minions & more. 2 week holiday. Updated 9/14 - FINAL THOUGHTS

Fun updates, Scott.

We stayed for one night at the All Star Music two years ago.

We have NEVER visited the All Star Movies.

I adore that picture of the puppy Dalmation watching you on TV. :lmao::lmao:

Interesting pictures of all the various resorts. I never seem to set aside any time to go resort visiting at all; so thanks for sharing.
We only did this to see the decorations. Normally on a day off we would do DTD and swim.

I am loving all these pictures, Scott! From one who is lucky to get to go to Walt Disney World at all due to living on a teacher's salary, the value resorts are near and dear to my heart. We've stayed at them all and have enjoyed them all. We've been able to manage several non-value stays on our own, and we've been the guests of super-duper nice friends at some a few times. We definitely love those and see how easy it is to get 'spoiled' to them, no doubt. They are beautiful. But, when I see pictures of the value resorts, I am every bit as excited and ready to go back and visit them again. Pop Century was our first on property stay, so it will always be special to us. Seeing the All Star resorts in your pictures brings back wonderful memories, as well.
Glad you are enjoying them.
We have special feelings for POR as that was our first resort stay.
:thumbsup2

Loved seeing all the all stars

Have not seen the all star music since our honeymoon 15 years ago. We stayed there for half the trip. Cute resort.

Love the movies. Those are my favs of all stars.

Cute pic in the tv :thumbsup2
:thumbsup2
I have not seen them in 45 years. :rotfl2: I am glad I did get to see them.

Scott -

Those pictures of the ALL Stars resorts are just gorgeous. Now I want to stay at all three of them!!!!!!

Beautiful!
Thank you.
:rotfl2:

What a fun walk through of the All Stars resorts! I enjoyed looking at the pictures which are, by the way, lots better than some that I've seen on some Disney related sites. :thumbsup2 John's family has stayed at All Stars Sports and they love it there.
Thank you.
It did seem like a nice place. Just lots of kids for Pop Werner there but they were well behaved.

Loving your tour of the resorts, seeing all the different Christmas decorations is lovely :)
Thank you

He said I was a star. :lmao:

After viewing the All-Star Resorts we left there and moved onto a new resort. Not really new to us though as we stayed there 5 years ago on our last Christmas trip. And now I present Coronado Springs. LOL.

There goes Vinny. LOL.

It was very pretty walking towards the lobby.

Here is the lobby.

The smaller trees by the exit to the marina area.

I then went outside and had to take a pic of the lake.

Here is the store. I did love the store when we stayed there.

Being it was Christmas time I figured this was Nestor the Long Eared Donkey (if you do not know what I am talking about google it).

With a flash.

I was looking for magnets for Lorrie but never found them.

Lets look at the clouds through a wreath.

The pathway back to the car.

Then we were on our way to the next resort.

Up next,

Lisa(mickeystoontown) this one is for you….

We did a walking tour (albiet a short one 'cause we didn't have a lot of time) of Coronado Springs and it's a very pretty resort. Your pictures, as always, are beautiful!

Oooh, I bet I know where ya'll are headed!

Ahhhh....our home away from home (well it was until we got spoiled by renting points and staying DVC). We have stayed at the Coronado ten times (the last time was Mark's 60th birthday trip in 2012. We've had some very special stays there -- Mark's 50th, our 25th wedding anniversary, my successful breast caner surgery.

I always loved how they decorated it for Christmas. So pretty. The outside of the resort always warmed my heart...so pretty.

Thank you for bringing back some very special memories.

Thank you.
:) I bet you do. I did a quick tour.

What a lovely resort. Thank you so much for sharing your tour. Being a west coaster, I've only been to WDW once, and don't anticipate getting there again soon. So your tour is very appreciated, otherwise, I may never have a chance to see the resorts. :)

Coronado decorations outside and in lobby look a lot like wedding minus the Christmas Trees.

Really enjoying your resort tour:thumbsup2

There definitely is a pattern.
Yeah they were but they were the "value" trees. :lmao:

 I DO always think of you and Mark when I think of CSR ::yes::

:rotfl2: I would not mind Vegas.

His DH gets "lost" in the casino so that may be a big reason he prefers WDW ;)

LOVE the rest of the pics. I've never stayed at Music, Movies yes! I have a pic in that TV of my DS22 when he was 8 and I was pregnant with my 13 year old. WOW, there was a time I only had one child :faint: My DH loved his daily Mickey Waffle at the food court! Great memories.

it is a really nice resort. We stayed in Casitas 3 and it was a perfect location.
Glad I can help. I do hope you get there again.

Loving all these holiday pictures. Coronado lobby looked stunning
Thank you.

Wow! Look at CSR all gussied up for Christmas. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for reading. It was nicely done.

Really enjoying your resort tour:thumbsup2
I didn't get a wedding vibe. :confused3
Thanks.

:rotfl2: I guess that would do it.
:thumbsup2

I think CSR does an awesome job with Christmas decorations! I love the white theme. So very pretty!

I may just have to do a CSR drive by in October. You resort touring pictures are totally inspiring me!

OOPS! Did not see this.

Those are great reasons to stay there. DVC does that to people. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

I fully agree.

:thumbsup2

Sure Scott...just ignore my comments. :lmao::lmao::lmao:
OOPS!

They do really do a great job.

I love exploring the resorts. Highly recommend it. Have a drink by the lake.

After visiting CSR we went over to CBR. This place is HUGE and I got lost in the parking lot and ended up in a cm only area. LOL. We soon found our way.
Here is the tree they had.

With a flash.

I love how they have this place decorated. Not for Christmas but just in general.

Step up to any counter for what you desire.

I have yet to eat here but it is on my list.

Another tree that was outside of Shutters.

I actually like the way this came out.

As you can see it was not busy here and of course Vinny is walking ahead of me. LOl.

Maybe someone was hungry? Actually we were deciding on here or somewhere else.

The different sections.

We did decide on something in here.

Water. LOL. Lunch will be elsewhere.

Looking over towards the gift shop.

I believe this is the area outside of the store. Lisa if I am wrong please tell me.

Here is the mat. I took a pic at each resort for my work page. LOL.

They did have a pretty wreath.

And then our tour was over. It is a real beautiful resort but BIG. I thought they decorated nicely.

Up next,

Lunch at our favorite non DVC resort.

The CBR definitely is a big resort but we like how it's nice and spread out. Keeps it from feeling so crowded. I love how the trees have the tropical flowers on them. Pretty!

You were right about the place in the picture. There is a part of the store that's enclosed and then the "open air" area that is in your picture.

I wish that ya'll had stayed and tried their housemade chips. They have a jerk seasoning on them and are delicious! Oh and a monkey cupcake, another CBR treat you need to try. Now, I'm homesick for the CBR. Thank goodness we will be back there on the 24th.

Enjoyed the pictures of CBR. We stayed there years ago. My kids were still young and we went with my college room mate and her family. We really liked it. In fact I have decided that is where I want to stay on our next trip, just don't know when that will be.:dance3:
