Yes indeed Horton does appear to be "straining" ... me thinks that Cat in the Hat was up to his old tricks .. snuck into Zonkos, and then got the Whos to give Horton a dose of U-NO-POO!!

Bummer about FJ, but next time, there will be no stopping you. The ride is awesome. We had lunch at the Three Broomsticks every day, we thought it very good . Frozen beer gets our vote over the regular. But oh is it sweet!!

Your pix are colorful and dazzling as usual. Brings it all back to me. Can't wait to visit again and experience DA too.

It was a great day. I love it too but cannot drink it because of carbonation which is a bummer being I have a recipe to make it.

I have been silently reading along but wanted to say congratulations on your weight loss. You look great. I also wanted to let you and others know about newer seats on Forbidden journey. The first time we went, my husband didn't pass the test seats outside. The second time, they had added some new ride vehicles with a little bit more room on the two outside seats. Those test seats are inside right before you get on the ride. They will take you out of the line to try them. They are in the dark line so it is discreet. It is also by the chicken exit so if you don't fit, you just walk out the door with all the others who wanted to see the inside but not ride. Also, you can stay in line until you get to the ride. Just tell the CM you are not riding and they have a "wand swap" room where you can sit and watch Harry Potter movies while you wait. My husband did fit on the inside test seats and was able to ride.

The guy told us we could tour the building but I want to see it all at once to get the full experience.

We then reached our destination.


I have done this ride once before and loved it. The ride was a walk on and I think we waited maybe a minute for a boat to pull up. The girl in front of me asked me where my bag for my camera was and I told her I did not have one as I wanted pics. She looked at me like I was crazy. She might be right…

Off we went.

As our boat approaches the gates to enter.

New area of the ride.


Sorry for the quality of pics but the ride does move and it is on water. LOL.




Then we were thrown off course and it got ugly.










OH NO!


I hope they are okay.


Then we were entering the building.


The inside part is not very long. I have no more pics of this and you basically go up and see dinosaurs then down like a flume ride. It is fun. I knew when we were going to drop so I put my camera under my shirt. You go down a drop 80 feet. It was fun.

We then got off the ride and we were soaked.


I think most people had ponchos on and that is no fun, why bother doing it. Part of the fun is getting wet.

Then we went to sit down and think of what was next. I went into the bathroom for tissue to dry off my camera which survived. Guys were in there with their shirts off and putting them in the hand driers to dry. LOL. Vinny did it too after I told him but it only worked so much.

We did walk over to see others come down the hill. Here are the photos of the splash and why we got soaked. If you walk a little further down from where we were it is a splash zone and you get wet standing there.

Then we were done with Jurassic Park area. I loved the area but I am a big fan of the movies and cannot wait for JP4 to come out.

You know, since Potter opened, a lot of people overlook Jurassic Park. But it really is one of the best themed areas of any park.

I enjoy the River Adventure. I tried to film inside once, but I got yelled at, lol.

Rumour has it of an expansion here once the new movie opens. Can't wait to see both.

I am strictly a poncho kind of girl so I admire you bravery in tackling those falls without one! And you are even braver for exposing your calendar to the elements. It obviously held up well because your pictures of the splash zone are really awesome! Love it! I remember that ride and it looks like a lot of fun!

I went on youtube and looked up Poseidon ride. I watched some of it, but didnt seem like much of a ride. Is it just a walk through attraction/show?

Wow! I had no idea that you got so wet on the Jurassic Park ride. I'm not a fan of walking around soaking wet all day so I'm thinking that I'll pack some throw away ponchos.

I love your pictures and surprised they allowed you to take them. I have heard many times they will have an announcement on the ride if they catch you taking pictures to put your camera away. We never went on it because I hate getting wet like that, but I do want to try it someday....I would be a poncho wearer though. LOL
