it is really a nice area. They did a good job there.

More intense. You(ok I did) really feel like you are on a coaster.

The Simpsons ride looks so cool and that theme is great! I think Denny will really enjoy that. Keep the universal pictures coming because I am definitely heading there in October. Love it!

Finally caught up! I would love a few extra days at the beginning of a Disney trip to just relax, or go to Universal, but once I'm there, I can't stay away from Disney, so I don't know if that will ever happen!

Universal looks like so much fun, I haven't been there since I was 12 and I'm dying to go back, but again, I can't tear myself away from Disney! But now that they have The Simpsons area, I might have to, I've been obsessed with The Simpsons for years! Those Duff guys are so funny! I love that they have the Jebediah Springfield statue!

It's in the Nicktoons building, what was it Jimmy Neutron? Right across from Shrek (Shrek is still there)

I never got to do Back to the Future, I was pregnant at the time. It felt like the "Body" ride that used to be in Epcot to me And I enjoyed the DISmeet pics on Kathy's TR

Diagon Alley is the next area for Harry Potter. Well the link is blocked.

The entire Springfield area is cool. The Simpson ride is Vinny's favorite.

I understand that. We don;t do it every trip but ever few years i tis nice to get away from Disney and see other parks.
They did a great job theming the area.

Great update! I loved that ET ride when we have been to US. I haven't been since they were building IOA, I will have to try to make it there again at some point.

Glad to see you are getting such good results from your surgery, you can definitely see quite a difference, congrats!

I wanted to stop by and say hi. I'm one of the grannies that was suppose to go on the trip with Rosie but I decided it would be so much more fun to injure my back ... 3 compression fractures. Would have enjoyed meeting you and sharing a meal together. Now I must go back and catch up on this TR!

first congrats on the weight loss! I am needing to do something too as it is getting out of control for me. I can stick to the exercising somewhat, but I only like crappy food for some reason.

You had a great start to your trip and I bet it was nice to visit with friends and catch up with Vinny's son ....who by the ay needs to smile in the pictures!

We did Universal in March of 2012. The Despicable Me ride wasn't open yet then, nor had they started adding the Simpsons area. But we had a fabulous time there. The Simpsons is our favorite ride..probably our favorite ride anywhere. Did you ever get a chance to ride it back when it was Back to the Future? Now that is my favorite all time ride EVER!
I can't wait to see what the rest of the day brings!

You look great! I think that sleeve was a great choice for you! I know there are a lot of options and it's wonderful to see you looking healthy and happy. Sometimes people loose so much too fast and look sickly, but you don't really have that problem. Congrats!

You are tempting me with the US parks… but I know it's going to be something that waits until our next trip. Catie will just be too young for me to enjoy that part in March.

Are you getting a lot of snow? Our weather has been AWFUL today and it's suppose to get to -4 on Monday. That's not a temperature- that's TORTURE! Sigh.

Graet updates, great pictures, its wonderful seeing it all thru your camera lens. I can’t believe how empty the park it is! Nice! We took my DD (Sam) and her best friend in 2011 and we had plenty of crowds as it was summer, especially for WwoHP which was our focus. We did get over to the Studios one day and we loved the Simpsons ride (and it does feel like you really are on a roller coaster). The duff drunks had not stumbled in as yet btw the names are hilarious!! Love that Vinnie is getting into character.

And Congratulations on your successful surgery and fabulous weight loss to date (the pictures do not lie). Way to go and keep it up!

You want to go when everyone can enjoy it. They have a part for younger kids but it really isn't all that much.
We did get snow, about 8 inches but it is really cold.
