Resort Thread Disney's PORT ORLEANS FRENCH QUARTER Resort

Hi everyone! We will be there soon and I was wondering what our options are for late night food, after midnight late. We have one night we are doing after hours HS and there is no food there as well…only snacks (popcorn, icecream). We are going to be starving by the time we’re done

Other than ordering a food delivery from an outside company, your only options are a few items (chips etc) from the vending machines in each accommodation building. Or stock up in advance from the grab'n'go or bakery selections at the food court before you head off to Studios.

It's been a while since we have been to Disney and are coming for a weekend in september. We did online checkin already and use our phones for everything. Wondering if the pool is now locked if it is, can you get through using your phone?

No, the pool is not locked. The gate is only to prevent smaller children from accessing the pool deck unsupervised.

At extreme peak times, such as 4th July weekend, cast members may validate IDs to ensure non-guests do not use the pool.

That's great thank you for the info!

Very excited, the wife and I are heading back to FOFQ for the first time in probably 25+ years, so long ago that I think our hotel cost the last time we stayed there was less than $100 p/night. Since then, having three kids, pretty much all of our stays have been at the sister resort POR. We decided to take advantage of the free QS dining and wll be down there the last week of Sept-first week of Oct. Hoping for good weather and average to lower than average crowd levels. I can already taste the begneits. Anything new about FQ that I should be aware of?

We added a night at POFQ for our trip in December! 5 nights at Pop and ending our trip here. It is our first moderate resort, as we LOVE Pop. I know it’s gonna ruin us for value, but we also just bought in to DVC so it escalated quickly.

You may know this already, but the rooms have been refurbished and they look fantastic. Enjoy your stay!
