Mickey, Minions & more. 2 week holiday. Updated 9/14 - FINAL THOUGHTS

As I said we were heading to “The Land” pavilion. We had a FP+ for Living with the Land but it was too early.

I love walking in and seeing the balloons.

As I said we were early so we decided to do something we have only done once before.

Blurry shot of the crowds going into the theater.

It was an okay show. I think maybe it could use some updating. Then we saw the displays.

Now it was time for our ride.

Here comes our boat.

Then we were off.

Then we were heading out into the greenhouse.

I loved they decorated the ride a little.

A waterfall.

I wonder why it is a miracle?

Then we entered the fish area.

Gators.

Con't...

Con't....

Hidden Mickey.

This was cute.

I love eggplant.

Anyone want a Rosemary Christmas Tree?

I love how they grow some things.

The Brussel Sprouts were festive.

Then we were nearing the end.

Then our ride was over. This is Vinny’s favorite ride and it is in my top 4. I find it relaxing and love seeing all the flowers and plants and fruits.
If you have the time (I suggest making it) do the Behind the Seeds tour they offer. It is cheap and very informative.

Here is a parting shot of a balloon.

I think I will stop here.

Up next,

Lunch

I love Epcot. Living with the Land is such a nice ride. Someday we will do the Behind the Seeds tour.

That was a great picture of Vinny outside of Starbucks. One of the few pictures where I have seen him with a genuine smile.

We LOVED the Behind the Seeds tour, and we were fortunate to get the last tour of the day 15 minutes before it started. DH and I did it without the kids on the couples trip. I really liked the ladybug release and feeding the fish. Very cool to see they decorated some of the plants :goodvibes Great update!

Great Update Scott!! I have only seen Circle of Life twice and it is not one I rush back to do either , but good for a time filler !!!

We can produce over 27,000 heads of lettuce a year in this one small area.

Here's something you don't see every day - tomatoes growing on trees.

Much of the produce you see growing in our greenhouses is served in our restaurants here at The Land.

We love this ride. Ready to ride again in just a few short weeks. :cool1:

Circle of Life could use an update. One time when we watched it, the theater was so littered with trash. A bit odd for this particular attraction. :upsidedow It's one of those things we see every few years - or maybe if we are camping out in The Land waiting for rain or a storm to pass by.

I love the Living with the Land ride. My boys.....not so much. So, I tend to miss out on getting on it unless I go solo.

Great pictures and I love the rosemary christmas tree idea.

Great update! I love The Land! I miss the old version though, with the cute little song that used to play http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEcM7T00jHk

We did that "Behind the Seeds" in 2010, it was really neat, She actually talked about that miracle fruit during our tour, after you eat it some protein in it makes sour foods that you eat afterwards taste sweet.

I love that little waterfall near the Water Lily.

we love living with the land. Such a relaxing ride.

Trent wanted to see Circle of life movie and we told him later as we had dinner reservations. Never made it back and felt bad. He has seen it before, but really into Lion king lately, so think that made it more important for him.

He made a list of what we need to do when we go back and that was number 1 :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 definitely try to it someday.
He smiles a lot but I catch him in moments of surprise.

The ladybug release is fun and so was the feeding of the fish. Seeing them get in a frenzy was hysterical.
Thanks.

:lmao: Me either but it does fill time.

So jealous but so happy you get to go back and make up for the last trip.
:rotfl2: I find that funny.

I would go solo. :lmao:
Thank you. I loved that tree.

I didn't remember that song till I heard it.
Oh that is good to know about the miracle fruit. :thumbsup2
I love it too. I wish I had a backyard for it. :rotfl2:

It is relaxing and so pretty to see.
Make sure you do it right away but then it might not be number one anymore.

I love Living with the Land too! It's just so neat to me. I agree with your recommendation of the Behind the Seeds tour. We've done it twice and I'd do it again.

Oh wow, look at all the people heading in to the Circle of Life!! I'm genuinely surprised. Glad to know that people actually come out.

Living with the Land is one of those rides that I would never have expected to enjoy, let alone enjoy as much as I do. It really is such a relaxing ride.

The 2 times we have done it there were crowds going in. Definitely not a must do. :rotfl2:

Same here.

Once we finished the tour of the land we walked outside and we saw the upside down waterfall.

I thought this was pretty.

Then I saw a monorail go by.

We were hungry for lunch so we started to walk towards World Showcase.

We walked over.

I am a peeper. LOL.

Maybe I walked and Vinny and Renee took the boat.

I love this.

Hello France.

The picture that is on the ledge when you walk over the bridge into france.

See the horrible weather we were having. :)

Then we went to have lunch at Tangierine Café. What we had.

Scott:
Lamb Wrap - served with Tangierine Couscous salad and Lentil salad $10.99

Vinny:
Falafel Wrap - served with Tangierine Couscous salad and Lentil salad $8.99

Total = $21.28
I think Renee had some kind of salad. I also got an iced tea. We love this place and will continue going back.

Always working or viggling. LOL.

Definitely viggling being he is retired.

We saw pineapples while we sat there.

Then we finished up and went walking.
I think I will stop here as the next update we meet a special couple who takes us to a whole new world.

Up next,

A character meet

I have no clue what viggling is :confused3 which shouldn't shock anyone as I am technologically impaired :lmao: However, YUM!!! And those pineapples are cool! You just don't see that up here!

Oh yes, horrible winter weather down there :rotfl2:

Can't wait to meet Aladdin and Jasmine:cool1:

I'm going to admit that I am not a big fan of TT's queue either. Take me straight to the ride!

I love the holiday touches at Living with the Land. I missed it in December so I'm interested to see your photos.

What the heck is Circle of Life in The Land? I obviously just pass it by since I've never seen anyone going in there. I'm curious now.

I love your collection of lovely Epcot-scapes. Very nice. :)

That's awful weather you're having.

Love the food (and viggling :scared1:) at Tangierine Cafe.

I love the Tangierine Cafe! It's one of my favorite, if not my fav, QS. The food is so yummy!

More beautiful pictures Scott!
