I was so annoyed at the parade. There was very few people there and then all of a sudden really rude people were everywhere. Thankfully you and Jim are a little taller than I am.

I think the whole party was worth it just for the bears. That was one of he best interactions we had the whole trip. They wanted the bottles of water from my basket.

You actually offered to get me something but I declined. I still had a bottle of iced tea left. A little warm but it was OK.

At this point it was almost 11pm and I was ready to leave. I think Lorrie and Jim were too so we started heading to the front. Here are some castle pics.






I love getting reflection pics but I do not always succeed.


The castle show was going on so I walked over.

Then we started heading out again.




Then I saw a CM holding balloons so I had to get a balloon shot.


The female CM asked me if I wanted to hold them (you have to hold them with a CM holding them too) and I was very excited and I said yes. Lorrie took this shot.




I was so happy they offered that to me. I felt special. LOL. This was one of the better parties I had gone to. I did not do much but did several firsts.

Then it happened, a blizzard on Main Street. LOl.


I did pick up a Minnie Bake Shop cookie at the Confectionary and a powerade. Then I think we walked to the bus stops and parted ways. It was a fun night at the party and glad I went. Like I said not much done but do feel like I did some things I would not have. Thanks to Lorrie & Jim for letting me hang with them.

I do not remember the bus taking much time so I was soon back at AofA.

Once in the hotel I got another cookie to use up the snack credits. Then I walked to the room.

Then I was in the room. It was a great day overall and definitely a tiring one.

Art of Animation Resort review:

• Overall I liked the resort. I do not agree with people who say the walk from Little Mermaid to the main building is a long walk and it definitely is not if you take the sidewalk going past the bus stop and then you skip going into the building all together.
• The theme here I feel is perfect in each section. I particularly love the CARS section and feel that one is the best decorated.
• Landscapes of Flavor, the counter service here is good. The first time we ate there last year the food got cold quickly but this time the food stayed hot.
• I would stay here again but only if I did in the CARS suite and if they lowered the prices.

And with that our day 5 was over. I went to sleep.

I've been reading the updates but haven't had a chance to post until now. Great pictures of the fireworks while waiting in line for the seven dwarves!

Even if you didn't do a whole lot during the party, it looks like you had a great time and that's what matters. What I wouldn't give to see it snowing on Main Street!

When we toured Art of Animation, I thought that it was a long hike to the Little Mermaid rooms but the sun was almost beaming down and it was hot so I'm sure that it made the walk seem miles longer than it actually was.

The first time I saw him, he was still partially covered in plastic. I am happy that he is freeee now!

I didn't think the walk to Little Mermaid was any big deal. It gets a lot of 'bad press', though, for being so far away. I guess I figure a hundred steps in Disney World is no big thing among the thousands one takes in a day.

I enjoyed seeing your Christmasy Magic Kingdom pictures.

I hate snow...I truly hate it with a passion (and a big reason we plan to move to Florida in 2016). But I do love it on Main Street...it just makes it all the more magical.

Very true. It was a great party for what I did.
We had mid 80's temps so that could make a difference. But it really wasn't too bad and especially if you took the shortcut.
