Great updates! I love roller coasters, so I'm dying to try Rip Ride Rockit, but the fact that all those people got stuck kind of scares me! My sister was in Universal when that happened, I texted her and told her and I think she said they went on 2 hours earlier! Crazy!

The Simpson's area looks so cool!

The restaurant you ate at looks really nice! I don't know anything about Universal restaurants, except the ones in the Simpson's area, of course! I'm dying to get a Krusty Burger and a Duff!

So we started to walk over to where I thought the dance party was. Along the way we came across Bart.
Cowabunga!


We walked over and did not see anything even remotely close to a dance party so we decided to go into here. Now as I see the schedule I see we must have gotten an old one because the date is from the middle of last year (probably when the movie came out) and so we did not see the party.


I love Lucy so why not go in. They had the Emmy’s on display.

They had a trivia game you can play. I did okay but not really. LOL


The game you have to answer questions as each one right moves you closer to California for their trip. It was fun.

I played then looked around. I saw Renee step outside so I went and Vinny was still playing the game. I had to go inside and tell him we were waiting outside. As we waited I took a pic of Men in Black walking around.


Then they cleared the road (not the party) and a car came out. Inside were the Blues Brothers.




After seeing them I went inside to get Vinny.


Vinny came out and I saw on the board that something was starting soon so we walked over there. Really it was across the street.


Love how the queue was empty. Now while walking through here I heard a familiar voice behind me and as I turned to see it was Lorrie (Tazdev3225 on here and here is a link to her tr for the trip. Click here) and we then walked into the main room where you see the video and then I saw Jim (her husband walk in). It was so great to finally see them. Lorrie and I met here along with others a few years ago and she has come up to NYC to see a few of us and I have gone to Philly to see her and we have also had trips to Disney so I would say she is a dear friend to Vinny and I.

Then no more pics since I was talking and then the show. I have to say I didn’t really care for it. I thought it was waste of time (like Jack Sparrow show in DHS) and so I am glad I do not have to do it again. In the gift shop they had a display of The Walking Dead merchandise but absolutely not one thing of Daryl. The worker there said they cannot keep them on the shelves.

Lorrie also informed me they saw the Minion Dance Party. That is when I knew I had an old time schedule and the time was right but the location was wrong. Oh well we will be back and hopefully will see it then.

I think this is a good spot to stop.

We've never done Terminator 2; and I agree with you...the Jack Sparrow thing at the Studios is not worth the time.

I haven't posted much on FB about the weight loss but you look wonderful. I have to start working on that myself. As soon as all the candy and cookies are gone. Of course I could be good and give them to my grandson. He's a teenager, he doesn't gain weight.

I bet the reason you don't like bangers and mash is you haven't had proper sausages, ours are very different to yours and of course better Cornish pasties consist of meat, veg & potato chunks wrapped in shortcrust pastry!

We do go back in 2 days from then. Wait and see if I see it then.
I tried it at a pub in London and just didn't care for it. The Cornish Pasties sound delicious.

Is "Disaster" the ride with the tornado?

I did not go to Men In Black a few years ago, I remembered it was a good place for air conditioning. Jack Sparrow was so boring I forgot to mention it in my trip report. I think the highlight of JS is when the kids get to yell argh! I never read about Jack Sparrow in a TR till I got home, and when you see comments like; "30 minutes of my life I can't have back", I was like damn, how did I not know.

You look great Scotty in week 10, keep up the good work.
