I was thinking about purchasing the Mickey luggage at disneyshopping.com. Does anyone have it - is it good quality?

We purchased the red and black sets for our trip this last December and they did great. Seem to be good quality to us! :thumbsup2

I have the black set, it has been to Hawaii and back, seems to be holding together very well after 2 FL trips and 1 to Maui!!

I bought the red set last year and love it. I'm thinking about adding the sage green set this year!

I bought the Navy set for xmas in 05 for my son. We used it in April 06, and in Jan 07. LOVE IT!!

I purchased the black set a couple of years ago. I liked it so much that I just purchased another set.

I got the black set for christmas two years ago, and loooove it! I think they're the perfect sizes, and it seems to be good quality (though I'll admit I really know nothing about luggage!) I've taken it on 2 Disney trips (soon to be 3!!!) and anytime we go visit family overnight. The colors are probably a better choice to help it stand out at baggage claim, but the black is pretty nice looking. :thumbsup2

Yes, I have it and love it.

I also have the matching garment bag (no wheels), laptop case and backpack/tote bag.

Glad to read positive reviews of these. My husband bought me the 4 piece set for this past Christmas, along with the red Mickey ears luggage tags. I will be using these for my trip in April. :thumbsup2

I guess that I am going to be the sour patch kid here and say that I am very disappointed in the quality. I currently have 2 sets now (red & navy). The zipper broke on the large red one, broke on the large blue one, and the wheel broke off on a little red one. The zippers cannot be repaired. I haven't tried to fix the wheel yet. Either it's poor quality or I am just really unlucky!

I do have to add that yes, I know luggage gets tossed around during transit, but I have a set of soft sided Atlantic luggage that has been through the ringer for the past 10 years and there is no damage to any of those pieces.

I also have to add that I am not a suitcase over packer. I have no problems taking an extra suitcase just so that I don't overpack and risk not meeting weight at the airline check in counter.

I am ready .... flame suit on!

I have the red set and bought the black set for my sister. I'm generally happy with mine. Something I really like is that the two suitcases have extra zippers so that you can expand the capacity--they hold a lot! I haven't had any problems with the zippers or wheels but have had a problem with the extending handles--my large one and my sister's small one both stick. The tubes that the handle slides through got bent slightly. I used mine on an air trip a couple of times, but I've decided I'm not going to use it for flying anymore. But I go away overnight frequently and I keep the smaller one packed and ready to go-it's perfect for one or two nights. And when I go to DL I always drive so the big one is great for longer trips. So I don't consider them really rugged, but great for light-duty traveling.

No need for me to flame you, I haven't even used mine yet :rolleyes1 It will be interesting to see how well it holds up. I'll be using it for the first time in 66 days for our trip to the world. :cool1:  :cool1:

I have the red set and it has made 2 trips to WDW and 1 trip to DL. I did have a hard time trying to roll the 2 at the same time. I was wishing the handles extended more.
So far no complaints on sturdiness. Last Wednesday morning when I was going up the escalator at MCO I accidently let go of the small bag. I just stood there and watched it tumble to the bottom. Thank goodness no one was behind me! Then my friend and I tried to walk down the "up" to get to it. He finally made it to the bottom to get it! I wasn't getting anywhere! :rotfl2: Now there are 2 small scratches in the material on the back, and now the handle seems to come out a little more, which is good for me!

I just got the black Mickey luggage today and love it. Looks like its good quality . Plus it was on sale for 49 dollars and I had a coupon code and got even more off so you cant beat that. I am excited to use it next month on our trip to Disney :)

We have two sets of the black. It is great. The other colors get dirty too easy. The airlines just don't care about our Mickey luggage. ;)

I bought two sets for $39.99 each and got free shipping.
